I’ve taken care of my dog Sugar since I was 12 years old, feeding him, walking him, cleaning his crate, and now changing his diaper in his older age. I am very responsible and caring when looking after dogs. After Sugar broke his neck and needed surgery, I helped him eat and take his medicine, as well as holding him in my arms and comforting him. I now take care of two other dogs as well, Rocky and Sparky. When I’m home, I walk Rocky every morning, make sure the dogs are eating and drinking, give them cuddles, and play with them. Also, 2 years ago, I dog sat for two dogs, one of them being an older dog named Lucky that is blind, partially deaf, and diabetic. I made sure to follow all the instructions given on taking care of them and administered Lucky’s insulin shots daily. As I was dog sitting, Lucky had a serious health scare and needed to go to the vet. I was responsible for taking care of him throughout the process, getting in contact with family members, and ensuring that he got the care he needed to recover. Thankfully Lucky is ok, and his family is very grateful to me for the care I provided him while they were away.
