Hi! We’re Michelle & Douglas — a recently married, work-from-home couple who absolutely love animals. We both grew up with dogs and have years of experience caring for pets, including pet sitting through other apps (you can see screenshots of our 5-star reviews in our photo section). We recently lost our beloved pup in April 2024, and we truly miss the joy of having a dog around. Caring for your pets lets us share that love again, even for a short time 💛 Since we both work remotely, your pet will never be left alone for long. We live in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood with a dog park right next door and plenty of trails for outdoor time and sniffing adventures! We’re new to Rover, but not new to pet care — whether it’s walks, cuddles, meals, or meds, we’ll make your pet feel safe, happy, and at home. We can’t wait to meet your furry friend! 🐾

The J's were excellent sitters for Hershey. He was comfortable staying with them and was a little reticent to leave he had such a good time. He got daily walks, and I got updates and pictures which were good for me. I did not worry about him at all while I was gone. I would not hesitate to both use them again or recommend them.
Took amazing care of our dog. Very communicative and nice people.

We are both remote workers so are home more often than not, and if we are out and about it’s usually not for that long.

We love pets and want to treat your pet like our own. We have the mindset to leave anything better than we found it so we will treat your pet, your home or anything else like it’s our own.
A typical day
My husband and I are both very active and love being outdoors. You will often find us walking 3 miles before 7am and will provide opportunities for your pets to be active and get the exercise they need. We also work from home so we are around often and love the companionship of animals.
