Hello. My name is Michelle but everyone calls me by my nickname, Misty. I have been a dog and cat mom my entire adult life. I've fostered and loved everything from as small as a Jack Russell to my current giant Old English Mastiff. I have experience with administering meds, either orally or injections. I am now retired on 20 acres of land. I have a lot of energy and love to give your furry family member. My husband and I have a large safe fenced in area attached to our house. All pets are also free to roam throughout the house, day and night and no furniture is off limit... unless of course they are trained not too. Then I will be sure to enforce their parents rules. I currently have one very gentle Old English Mastiff that loves to play and snuggle with all furry visitors.

Misty is great. I worried about my two little dog before because I never left them to someone else. But I have a long term traveling needs to go. So I pick the highest reviewed dog sitter around me, Misty. Misty send me notes and pictures of them to me every day, which makes me feel so comfortable and good about my dogs. And when I pick up my dogs I can tell they have a good time with Misty and Smudge(Misty’s dog). I will definitely book with her again when I need to be out of town next time.
Michelle took perfect care of our dog while we were away, as usual. I think her home is his favorite place to go!
Michelle was amazing! She had a meet & greet with our guy to make sure it was going to work out. She is knowledgeable & patient & a true pet lover! We appreciated her regular updates & open communication. We felt like our little guy was in good hands. He had a great yard to run around in & places in the house where he could chill. We are so grateful to have connected with her. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a homey place away for your pet.
Thank you so much, Misty and Smudge! Misty and Smudge took amazing care of Meatball! He had so much fun with them, and I loved the updates from Meatball's POV! The pics and updates always made me laugh! Misty and Smudge are very reliable, kept Meatball entertained and safe! Meatball definitely picked up manners from Smudge too, which he definitely needed because he's a firecracker! Meatball is not the easiest dog, but Misty took incredible care of him and was very reassuring! I would love for Meatball to stay with them again, and I recommend Misty and Smudge for anyone's doggy needs! Thanks again, Misty and Smudge! <3
Did a great job will be going back
Michelle or Misty as she prefers did a great job to taking care of our Izzy. Misty was easy to work with, very responsive to our messages, and made Izzy feel right at home. We like that she only takes care of one dog at a time, so Izzy got lots of attention. We have already booked Izzy’s next stay.

Schedule
I am retired from corporate America and now work from home a few hours a day. I am home 99% of the time and a large part of that is working outside in my gardens or a project around my 20 acre property in the country.

Safety, trust & environment
I keep my own pets on a set schedule for meals and I will be sure to do the same for your pets according to your instructions. My dog will sleep in the bed with us if she wants. We allow them on our furniture. I keep my home and my fur babies very clean and maintain regular vet check-ups. They have all their vaccinations and are on a monthly flea/tick medication.

A typical day
I love to play with the animals and keep them stimulated. I have plenty of inside and outside toys. In the summer I have kiddy pools for them to play in and my house is cooled for their comfort.
