Pet care is part of my everyday life. I have worked in a full service veterinary hospital, and in my home, someone is always present—so pets get constant supervision, playtime, and companionship. I keep routines consistent and tailor care to each pet. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be part of our daily life.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities, especially when pets are staying in my home. I create a calm, structured environment where they can settle in comfortably and feel secure. My home features a fully fenced acre where dogs can safely run, play, sunbathe, or relax in the shade. I’m experienced managing multiple dogs and cats, so I carefully supervise all interactions and match energy levels to keep everyone safe and stress-free. I stick closely to your pet’s routine—including feeding schedules, medications, and preferences—so their stay feels familiar and consistent. With hands-on veterinary experience, I’m also able to recognize subtle changes in behavior or health and respond quickly if needed. Whether your dog loves to play or prefers a quieter space, I adjust to their needs and let them settle in at their own pace. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you can relax knowing your pet is in a safe, attentive, and loving environment.

Information Michelle D. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me everything you can about your pet before their stay! I want to know about their personality, daily routine, energy level, favorite activities, medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears, and any behavioral quirks. Please let me know if they’re crate trained, house trained, how they do with other dogs and cats, and if they have any resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escape tendencies. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. With my experience in veterinary medicine, animal rescue, and fostering dogs of all ages, sizes, and medical needs, I’m happy to care for vaccinated puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs, as long as I know how to best support them.
A typical day
Your dog’s day will be filled with plenty of love, attention, and enrichment! We start the day with potty breaks, breakfast (if applicable), and outdoor play in our securely fenced acre. Throughout the day, your pup will enjoy supervised play, walks around the property, enrichment activities like puzzle toys and sniff games, and lots of one-on-one attention. If your dog prefers a quieter day, that’s perfectly okay too, we tailor our care to each dog’s personality and energy level. Rest breaks are just as important as play, so there will be plenty of time for naps, cuddles, and relaxing indoors in a comfortable home environment. With my experience in veterinary medicine, rescue, and fostering, your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities.

Reviews

Michelle and Philip are a fun couple. Full of love and compassion that flows throughout their home between their children and pets. Accommodating our request with a one week notice was a blessing. My fur girls are new to boarding based on Michelle's updates and photos they were able to adjust and remained comfortable during their extended weekend. My fur babies returned home healthy and happy 😊.

Michelle is so sweet. We had originally booked her for the second week we needed coverage for our babies since we already had someone booked for the first week. Well the sitter for the first week cancelled last minute and Michelle picked up that week too. My needy girls took to her almost immediately and kept her on their schedule. Thank you Michelle for watching our girls. They can’t wait to see you again!

Michelle and her husband took great care of Bev. They are dog lovers and very familiar with the nuances of introducing both themselves and their dogs to new dogs. Bev seemed happy and tired when I picked her up!

Wonderful, welcoming environment for our two pups.
