My husband and I are both dog lovers. We had a Miniature Schnauzer for 14 years who had diabetes the last 2-1/2 years of her life. My husband gave her two shots a day, and I cooked chicken, brown rice, and sweet potatoes for her everyday to ensure she would eat. We now have a 22 month old Miniature Schnauzer who was perfectly house-trained at 5 months old because we walked her every 30 minutes when she was a puppy. We take her with us everywhere we go, unless the weather is too hot. One of our goals is to adopt an elderly German Shepherd who has no other options and just needs to be taken care of and loved. I am an experience, professional dog walker, having been employed as such for the past two years.
