My profile saids Michelle, but please call me Micah 🙏😊 My first time caring for a dog was when my family adopted a miniature, silver-haired, poodle puppy, that I named Shadow back in 2007 before attending university. Before graduating high school, my neighbors would ask me to look after their own four-legged family members (mostly dogs and cats) when they went out of town. I provided excellent care for their pets as if they were my own. I also have experience from working at a dog daycare and boarding facility between 2015 and 2016. The facility hosted dogs as small as Yorkies and as big as Great Danes. My duties at the daycare was to supervise play, clean up after the dogs, keep the facility clean, stay overnight for dogs that were boarding, help with feeding, give oral medication and provide transportation for dogs to their preferred vets whenever necessary. Since 2016, I have been providing pet care services through Rover and making long-lasting relationships with families and their furkids. I'm also open to taking care of of other pets as well. We'll just discuss beforehand.

Our picky dog seemed to warm up quickly to Micah. We were very comforted to know that Peter was eating well and keeping up with his normal routines while we were gone. We were able to enjoy our time away without worrying about him, which is pretty rare for us:)
Excellent sitter! Flexible, communicative, and accommodating. Stayed beyond the originally-planned end time of the stay to make sure walks and food were given on schedule, which gave me some extra peace of mind in case of any travel delays. My dog, cat, plants, and apartment were well taken care of. It was so nice to know that my pets were at home where they are most comfortable, and with attentive care. I only hope you'll be available next time I need to head off island!
Wonderful! Nothing bad can be said about our experience, from prior to booking all the way through our pick-up. We were seamlessly accommodated on VERY short notice, as we needed to make a mainland visit at the last minute. Not only was the meet and greet great, but during our pup’s stay, we received several photos + video. We felt bad returning a little later than we anticipated due to a night flight, but our sitter was understanding and incredibly patient. Mochi seemed happy upon our return home to pick her up. Will definitely be booking again in the future. Mahalo for treating Mochi like your own.?

Schedule
I currently work 25-40 hours per week at a salon, so pups that can go at least 8 hours without a potty break or are chill and comfortable in a salon work environment would be the best fit.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in an apartment complex with a beautiful garden/pool deck with my parents. There’s also plenty of grassy areas around the building. I have more experience as a house sitter and can be trusted to keep up with house chores such as collecting mail, watering plants, taking out the garbage, etc.
A typical day
When possible, I like to take furkids out to a fenced park with lots of room for them to run and fetch. You can definitely expect your pup’s cuddling needs will be met and their own personal boundaries respected. I also love to take pups out on car rides and along with me to run errands as a side kick.
