I am a fine artist, and do private tutoring in traditional painting. (Every now and then, I get a commission to do a pet portrait, which I love!) I am a self-starter, morning person, and pride myself on being on time, present in the moment, and walking in integrity in all I do! Taking care of pets enables me to continue in my creative work, and get out of the studio, meet new people and their fur babies!

A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs, taking my time, letting them enjoy the outdoors! I speak calmly, and give encouraging positive affirmations and reinforce good behavior. I like to play games, and pet and give treats!

Pet care experience
I have owned various pets since childhood, and seen them to ripe old age. I lived on a mini-ranch for 20 years, and cared for a large family, and had dogs, cats, birds, horses...to name a few! Since I moved to Ocala, the last few years, I have taken care of several pets of friends and neighbors, and done house sitting, and walking, giving meds, and food and water, TREATS:), and PLAYTIME:). When doing house sitting, I bring my little 13 pd Jackschund dog with, and she does a great job of blending in, and is an asset to the visit. (She doesn't make messes, and isn't destructive in any way) I will not leave home without her!
