My routine revolves around your dog’s routine - maintaining structure, exercise and play! Whatever your dogs needs are - I’ll work a routine around them. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I keep a structured but flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize walks, feedings, and dedicated time with each pet. I’m intentional about not overbooking so that every dog I care for gets my full attention, consistency, and a calm presence throughout the day. I am currently on a break from work so I am flexible and fully attentive to your pet.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, predictable, and safe environment. In a client’s home, I respect your space and routines exactly as instructed, keeping your dog on their usual schedule to minimize stress. I’m mindful of details like secure leashing, door safety, and avoiding known triggers during walks. In my home, I maintain a clean, quiet, and structured environment where dogs can feel relaxed. I closely supervise interactions, keep spaces hazard-free, and make sure each dog has a comfortable area to rest. I approach every pet with patience and awareness, especially those who are anxious or reactive, so they feel secure at all times.

Information Michelle C. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best care, I like to understand each dog as an individual. Helpful details include: • Temperament (especially any anxiety, fears, or reactivity) • Triggers to avoid (dogs, people, noises, etc.) • Daily routine (feeding, walks, sleep habits) • Medical needs or medications • Training cues and boundaries • Comfort items or preferences • Emergency contacts and vet information And any other necessary information, questions or concerns. I look forward to caring for your pet!

A typical day

Mornings usually start with a walk and feeding, followed by some play or enrichment depending on the dog’s energy level. Throughout the day, I incorporate additional walks, mental stimulation (like sniff walks or light training), and quiet time so they can rest comfortably. I adjust everything based on the individual dog, some need more exercise and engagement, while others thrive with a slower, low-key routine. My goal is for them to feel settled, cared for, and at ease.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Michelle! I’m a reliable, detail-oriented pet sitter with a calm, patient approach that helps dogs feel safe and understood from the moment we meet. I’ve always loved animals, and caring for them is something I take seriously, always making sure they’re being cared for with intention. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy incorporating walks, play, and enrichment into each day, but I also know that every dog is different. Whether your pup is high-energy, prefers a slower pace, or just wants a quiet companion, I tailor my care to what makes them feel most comfortable. I currently have a reactive anxious dog of my own and am well experienced taking care of dogs with a variety of needs. She is very sweet with people but as she has her own needs, I make sure she won’t be interacting with your pet. I have also volunteered at dog shelters, taking care of dogs of all types, seniors, anxious dogs, puppies and more. I have a strong understanding of dog behavior and am especially comfortable working with anxious, shy, or reactive dogs. • I move at your dog’s pace and never force interaction • I’m attentive to body language and early stress signals • I’m experienced with leash reactivity and know how to avoid triggers and redirect calmly • I create a low-pressure, predictable environment that helps build trust • I’m patient with dogs who need extra time to warm up or who are sensitive to new people or environments I know that leaving your dog can be stressful, as I am a dog owner myself. I’ll make sure to keep you updated with thoughtful check-ins so you feel completely at ease. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, especially if they need a little extra patience or understanding. My goal is to make the experience feel easy and reassuring for both you and your pet. If it sounds like we’d be a good fit, I’d love to meet you and your dog—feel free to reach out anytime with any questions or concerns.

Michelle was a great sitter for Rover! She sent pictures regularly and it was obvious he was having a blast with her and was very happy and tired upon pickup. Will definitely book with Michelle again - thank you!

Michelle took such good care of our dog, Finley. She is friendly, flexible (especially helpful because we booked with her on short notice), and communicative—we got pictures throughout the day. Finley seemed to have a great time with not only Michelle but her dog as well!

Michelle is a great and caring person, with attention to detail to make her a perfect dog caregiver. She loves dogs and takes special care of each one she meets. Her personality is easy to get along with, and her caring spirit makes her a perfect dog-sitter or walker. She has taken great care of my dog, Cooper, and remembers all the thing he loves so that they have a special bond. Definitely recommend!

I have known Michelle for about 4 years now and if there is one word I would use to describe her it's being a Dog-lover. She has been around dogs her entire life, and is experienced with caring for dogs other than her own. She is a very responsible person, I have never seen her miss a deadline. I would trust her with anything! Whenever I need her to doggysit or help out with my dog, she always does a wonderful job, Jasper loves her!
