I’ve had dogs in our home since I was a little kid and always wanted to be a Veterinarian. I recall being that kid who would go to neighbor houses to ask to play with their dogs, and on more than one occasion I would babysit the neighbor’s pet snake. So much fun! Well I never did get that job as a Veterinarian, and while I care for humans now, my first love has always been caring for animals. Over my adult years we have always had dogs and cats in the home. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters over the years, and have fostered a number of basset hounds over the years. While I’m not a trainer of animals, I do know the basics in walking/commands for dogs. I know how important it is to have someone caring for your pets who are concerned for their safety, plan to give them snuggles and attention, and further making sure they are having plenty of fun. I hope to be that person for your fur babies!
