Big heart in a small town!
My dog, Aspen, was adopted four years ago from the animal shelter in Spearfish, SD. She is 10 years old and loves to be outside. Although I only own one now, I hope to adopt more in the future. I find it very easy to connect with dogs of all types. I have dog sat a few times, but never as my only job. I have a masters degree in counseling and human development. However, surprisingly, I tend to like animals a bit more than people! ; ) My communication is excellent and my patience is strong. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I prefer to always use a leash when walking dogs and appreciate tips regarding commands they know (or don’t know). Any tips about the spaces they’re allowed/not allowed are also helpful.

Michelle responded quickly to our request for a visit for our two doodles. She arrived promptly at agreed upon time and spent quality time with dogs. They got lots of attention while outside and were very happy. We received very complete summary of visit. Will recommend Michelle and use again when necessary.
We contacted Michelle for midday drop in visits for our two mini Aussie pups, while my husband was on the mountain. She arrived as scheduled and took them outside for bathroom and a romp in the snow. She even sent us pictures every day so we knew our girls were taken care of. We will definitely call her again and highly recommend. Thanks Michelle!

Michelle was great to work with! She was constantly giving updates on our dogs and was even flexible when we decided to push the walls back later in the day. We drove up from Denver and we're staying in a hotel so it was nice to have someone come get the dogs out for a walk while we were skiing!
Kiwi had a great time hanging out with Michelle while we went skiing! I especially appreciated her flexibility on pick up and drop off, and she sent adorable photos of my pup.
The dogs loved Michelle. She was very thorough and professional, and she did a great job keeping us up on their activities while we were gone. We highly recommend her.

Schedule
I do work full time, but I have some flexibility with my schedule. I like to plan ahead and am pragmatic with my time and commitments.
