An artist that loves animals! <3
I've been a pet owner for over 12 years and have raised a range of companions from small animals and fish to my ball python, Moo, and my quartet of cats, Goober, Bjorn, Natasha, and Moochi! I have experience administering oral medication and performing tasks including baths, nail trimming, eye drops, and ear cleaning. When I'm not cuddling with my babies, I'm probably drawing them instead. I'm an artist in the animation industry and animals are often my favourite subject to paint. I probably won't be able to resist drawing your pet(s) too! <3

This was our second time returning to Michelle as our preferred sitter for our cats. She was just as amazing as the first time. Michelle's multiple photos and frequent updates on their behaviour gave us a lot of comfort and confidence in her ability to watch our cats. Michelle was fantastic!!! We can't recommend, Michelle enough! We booked Michelle to check in on our 2 cats for four days while we were away. Michelle was willing to come meet the cats ahead of our leave and instantly clicked with them. Having multiple pets of her own, she was very confident in checking in on them, cleaning litter boxes, feeding them their wet food, and playing with and tiring them out. Though we only booked her for 4 days, and she spent a relatively small amount of time with our cats, Michelle was very observant and informed us of behavioural and health issues she noted. This speaks to her genuine care for (our) pets. Michelle also provided us detailed notes and pictures of our cats after every check in which provided us a lot of comfort/confidence in her while we were away. Overall, we can't recommend Michelle enough and will definitely be booking her again!!!
Michelle walked Elphie for consecutive days while I was away and I can't recommend her enough. Michelle provided daily updates on the walks, and included pictures so that I always felt connected. 5 stars!
Michelle is a total pro! She doggiesat my pups - one who is a newer rescue and still a little high maintenance but she was confident, calm, and lovely with them. I felt very comfortable with her in our home and look forward to booking her again in the future! Highly recommend.
Michelle is one of the most caring people I've ever met and she has such a strong love for all pets. From dogs to cats to snakes to birds, Michelle is passionate and attentive, taking great pride in befriending any animal she can.

Schedule
I am a freelance artist working from home so my schedule is very flexible! For housesitting, I'll often squeeze in some drawing time when we're just chillaxing at home.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I like to be with company so I'll rarely stray too far away from your pet! I like quietly sitting together and building trust with gentle play and talk. I try not to pick up cats unless necessary, especially if they're skittish. Dog walks will always be done leashed and on safe property like parks and non-congested areas. I can crate dogs and am comfortable moving them into separate rooms if needed.
Pets
A typical day
We’d go out for some chill walks in the neighbourhood and nearby parks then come home and maybe sit together as I draw them. Lots of pets and playtime of course!
