🏡 HOUSE SITTING & 🐾 30 or 60 min WALKS AND quick economical DROP-INS too! I have a very flexible schedule right now as I am trying to build up my clientelle on ROVER. I am available for pet care overnight at your home, throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. Just try to give me a heads up when you think you will need me for your vacations, or work schedule and I will do my best to accommodate you + your furry pet. I am devoted to my best friend 🧡 hound dog, Hunny every day of course but I am opening my heart up to helping other furry pet owners who need me. I can provide every 2 hour frequency (if needed) potty breaks, walks, companionship + stay overnight at your place so you can rest assured that your pet(s) are safely waiting for you at home when you return. My flexible availability this summer allows me to adapt to your pet’s usual routine. I am excited to meet your family soon. I journal every day, + I take photos everywhere I go. I love capturing the little moments that remind us to be present: a happy dog sniffing something fascinating, a cat curled up in a favourite patch of sunlight, a peaceful walk, or a funny expression that tells an entire story. You will receive photos + updates while you are away, + you and I may end up with a few favourite memories to keep for years to come.

🧡 MY PROMISE TO YOU My focus is on reliability, trust and peace of mind. I will provide dependable care + treat your dog, cat and home with the same respect + attention I want for my own. I am excited to build a clientele of new furry friends—+ perhaps some new human friends too. 🧡 I want to make your time away from home as comfortable and stress-free as possible, while making sure your pet(s) feels safe, loved + genuinely cared for. Your pet’s happiness is mine too! I follow each pet’s normal routine and your instructions carefully so they feel safe + comfortable in their own home. I am attentive to doors, gates, leashes, feeding schedules + medications, + I do not leave a pet unsecured, off- leash unless it is in your own backyard, of course. Your home will be treated with respect. My goal is for you to return to a home that feels peaceful, welcoming and cared for.

🐾 WALKS AND DROP-INS I plan to try to keep my drop-in visit price a little lower because I can provide shorter quicker visits—the perfect amount of time to pop-in for your pet(s) to have a potty break, special food, fresh water, affection, a reassuring safety check or medication, litter box empty for kitties, and of course, a treat or rub before I leave! My 30 minute walks give us more time to stretch our legs, pause + sniff, play in your backyard or have a quick ball throw + retrieve to burn off energy. I am comfortable with crate training routines you may have established too. I love long 60-minute walks too, and may ask if my sweet hound Hunny can meet your dog one day, I would love to start pack walks one day, if we all would enjoy that option. Goals for me, down the road. I will discuss all important details with you ahead of time at our meet-and- greet so I can understand you and your pet(s) well ahead of our scheduled visits.
A typical day
A typical day will include my cuddles with my sweet girl, Hunny and then follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I will provide cuddles, walks, potty breaks, meals, + quiet companionship based on your pet’s needs, preferences + of course the weather. I really enjoy being outdoors + walking BUT I am equally okay with quick DROP-IN'S if your pet is tuckered out or a senior cat or dog that just likes to see me to say hi, know their safe + loved and then ready to close their eyes and quietly nap on the couch, or on their bed or in their crate.

Pet care experience
Hello 👋 there! My name is Michelle. I am NEW to professional housesitting for furry loved ones(July 2026). I will be serving Windsor-Essex County, including Lakeshore (Belle River), Ontario—and beyond! Thank you so much for looking at my profile. Reach out when you are ready! ~ Michelle 🧡 🧡 WHY I CHOSE ROVER I first learned more about Rover through PetWatch, which gave me a Rover coupon when I rescued my coonhound Hunny + registered her microchip with Petwatch. I had heard Rover being recommended within the pet-care community, including by veterinarians. Then I heard from my dear friend, Jacquie in St. Catherine's who started her platform on Rover + is happily busy. I looked into the app + value the service fees I will be sharing with Rover because they will support the platform that connects us, provide ease of booking + payment tools, + Rover offers protections + safeguards for pet parents, pets + sitters alike. After devoting so much of my life to my 30- yr nursing career, my marriage + raising my children, I am finally learning how important it is to follow MY own dreams, hobbies + passions too. Self-care, time in nature + new adventures have become especially meaningful during this stage of empty-nesting. 🏡 HOUSE SITTING +BEYOND CARING FOR YOUR FURRY PET(S). And so begins my new adventure: caring for pets, AND homes + gardens— While you are away, I can provide a wider range of services tailored to YOUR needs—which happens to fulfill mine too. It truly is a win-win! I am discovering a whole new passion for organizing my friends’ + family’s homes, loving up their pets, and caring for their lawn + gardens. Who knew?! My soul knew. The universe ✨ knew. I just needed to listen. 🐾 MY LIFE WITH ANIMALS I have over 30 years of experience caring for dogs + cats and have always enjoyed sharing my life with animals of different breeds, sizes, ages + unique personalities. I currently have a very gentle mama: my 5-year-old, 59-lb Black + Tan Coonhound named Hunny. She loves van rides, camping, kayaking, beaches, conservation areas, trails + neighbourhood walks with me. There is no furry friend or human she meets who doesn’t love her and vice versa. I raised two Rhodesian Ridgebacks from puppies. Major lived to 11½ + LOVED flyball, so I still love playing fetch with dogs who enjoy retrieving. Maggie lived to 13 + ran beside me when running was my passion. Nowadays, I prefer to slow down. I love walking through neighbourhoods with big shade trees rustling, admiring flowerbeds with monarchs + bumblebees, listening to the birds singing songs ( especially Cardinals). Giving dogs sniffing time is so important for their mental well-being, just like us! After my two Ridgebacks, I fell in love with RESCUING Coonhounds. Beau Beauregard, Zellie Zoo Zoo + Belvey Belvedere have all crossed the beautiful Rainbow Bridge to be with my son, Mark—Forever 16; 2017. 🌈 Every one of these losses has taught me more lessons about love, patience + giving of SELF through the privilege of caring for another living being. As an RN of over 30 years, mum to my children and pets, I do not take special needs lightly. I am calm, patient, observant + affectionate, and I am very comfortable following detailed routines, medication instructions, including oral medications + giving injections. I know how important routine toileting is + attentive personal care. If a pet wears briefs, I am a bit obsessed about keeping them clean, dry + comfortable while protecting their dignity because of my years of caring for our sweet boy Belvey Belvedere. I can handle doggies who need an increase in FREQUENCY of visits (like every 2 hours) for more frequent attention, potty opportunities + brief changes. My nursing experience has also taught me to pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, special diets, mobility + overall well-being. Before long, I develop a deep bond with my furry friends—and I miss them when our time together ends. If you need me to stay in your home, I am more than happy to watch over your pets, home, mail, garbage/recycling, indoor plants, lawn + gardens. (Let me hear about any other agreed-upon household needs want to have done). I love playing in gardens, + I am also great at helping make a garden vision come to life. I love creating a surprise for someone to come home to. It is one of my love languages! Nothing makes my heart smile more than hearing that the result surpassed what someone had envisioned. 🌻 I have also recently discovered how much joy I get from organizing! Yes! I love to be distracted by organizing basements & closets + kitchens. It actually makes me feel needed. I know how busy + stressful life is + things just pile up. If you would like additional organizing or garden projects completed while you are away, we can discuss those separately ahead of time so we are both clear about the project + expectations. Your home will be treated with respect. My goal is for you to return to a home that feels peaceful, welcoming and fresh.
