We walk throughout the day, we play at the park most days and work on training the puppy to have good manners on our walks and other small doses throughout the day. We take our puppy to weekly obedience training and am able to use those skills to help care for the dogs I walk and board. I want my pups (and yours) to be happy and healthy.

About Michelle B.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide lots of love and affection and feed them according to their routine. We walk and explore the smells of the neighborhood as it’s good for their brains! I cross the street if we run into another dog as some dogs are reactive. If a pup is crate trained I typically try and have them sleep in their crate at bedtime since being at someone else’s house is already out of routine and can sometimes cause some anxiety. We also keep food and chemicals tucked away so there are no accidents.

Information Michelle B. would like to know about your pet

I love smart breeds and I am comfortable offering medicine orally and. We have an older indoor cat that may say hi to your pup too!

A typical day

I let them out for a morning pee, breakfast and morning walks, morning time to relax in the sunroom, lunchtime walks and outside time, dinner and toy time, and evenings stroll! I also love taking the pups to sunset cliffs and for a pup cup of their diet permits it!

Pet care experience

I took a brake from this account when my husband and I moved to Los Angeles and I’m excited to be back in San Diego and ready to meet your pup🐶 I am a Pilates teacher so I have a very flexible schedule and am home often during the week! I have a 10 year old cattle dog and a 10 month old Golden retriever and know how important fresh air, walks and snuggles are for our canines! Im excited to explore San Diego neighborhoods with your pup, or offer a cozy place to sleep while you’re out of town! I live in a house with a medium sized gated backyard and walk my own pups a few times a day aswell as work on basic obedience training with the puppy. When my pups and I aren’t walking the neighborhood, we’re hiking, playing frisbee at the dog park, or playing in the water at the beach. Getting outside is just as needed for me as it is for my dogs! I’m an excited to explore the city with your pup too!

Michelle is an amazing and responsible person with a passion and love for animals. She will take great care of your pets. I know this because I see the way she loves and takes the time to train her dogs. Your pups will love her!

Michelle is great with all dogs. I am a happy owner of a cattle dog who is shy a timid of most people. Michelle has a cattle dog of her own and understood my dogs personality and traits quickly, but most importantly gained her trust and mine as well. I work long hours and and can always count on Michelle knowing her and my dog have established a relationship.

Michelle is the best! She stayed at our house for more than a week while we were on vacation, and took excellent care of our two dogs and our cat, and our home. The pets can be a handful! Even with lots of needs (the cat doesn't go outside, old Beagle has to be walked separately, can't let the dogs play rough together, and they get up early for breakfast) Michelle knew all of the guidelines AND everyone was safe and sound -- and happy! Her great service comes from being a genuinely good person, and also because she has pets of her own, so she understands how dogs and cats have their own routines, needs and quirks. I would hire her again hands down, with no hesitation!
