Home from home pet sitting
With two Mali’s and two Maine coons as well as a lifetime of owning various pets, I have extensive experience of caring for both my own pets and those of friends and family. In 2023 I decided to take it one step further and start caring for pets of clients too. I have a wealth of experience in caring for cats, dogs, and many other smaller furry and non furry friends. If you have any special requirements of concerns please just reach out and ask. I work part time which leaves me plenty of time to indulge in caring for your feline family. Whilst new to Rover I have been providing cat sitting services for years both with friends and family and new customers too. Whilst you are away from home I will visit your pet as often as required, and will provide full updates with photos and videos giving you peace of mind. I am happy to open and close curtains, switch on and off lights and water any plants. I will visit prior to your departure to meet you and your pet and discuss any special needs and requirements. I am fully DBS checked and can provide references if required.

I consider safety to be paramount and will always go above and beyond ensuring that I follow your instructions and guidance both in your home and outside. When entering your home I will be extremely cautious to ensure there are no escapees and if leaving I will remain vigilant at all times to avoid any unwanted issues.

Michelle is such an incredible sitter! I have never felt relaxed about going away before and leaving my boys but knowing Michelle was coming in and seeing them really made the difference. We had such a lovely experience with Michelle looking after our two cats, Nala and Blizzard, while we were away. From the very beginning, she was friendly, reliable and really easy to communicate with, which gave us so much peace of mind. Michelle followed all of our instructions carefully and kept us updated during her visits, so we knew Nala and Blizzard were happy and well looked after. It was clear that she genuinely cared about them and took the time to make sure they were comfortable, fed and settled. We came home to two very happy cats! 🥰 We really appreciate the time and care Michelle gave them, and it made being away so much easier knowing they were in good hands. Michelle was incredible for our first time using a sitter. She was 100% the best choice. She put me at ease, asked me lots of questions, extremely knowledgeable! Our cats loved her and I think going forward she will be our person to use!!

Michelle was fabulous! I really feel my 2 cats were in safe hands with her. She did all the litter trays, played with them and gave them fuss- which is exactly what we wanted. I would definitely use Michelle again!!

Schedule
Currently working part time, I will happily accommodate your needs as required to care for your non human family member fitting in to their daily routine. This includes walking, playing, grooming, feeding or loving them.

- It is important to understand any special requirements, including likes and dislikes, as well as personality traits. I will ask you if there is anything in particular that your pet reacts to, how theu react to strangers if going outside the house and any particular triggers. I will check on feeding times, portion sizes and exact food. Walk times for dogs as well as sleeping habits. I will ensure I am aware of any medical needs, have access to the vet details, and understand any safety rules.
