I have always felt I shared a special connection with animals. I'm apt to remember pets' names rather than their owners'. I have cared for animals most of my life, both my own and others'. I have volunteered at shelters and helped dogs find furever homes through a doggy underground railroad. My first "real" job was cleaning kennels. I have worked in shelters and animal sanctuaries. I groomed show dogs part-time for 15 years. I even worked in the pet waste disposal business before having my only child. I currently care for a rescued Australian Cattle Dog that nobody else would adopt due to her aggression, as well as 7 cats. I am an energetic person who wants to take your dog for long walks. I can give medications and insulin shots when necessary.
