At A Nomadic Nimmie, we balance structure, adventure, and relaxation to create a fulfilling experience for every dog in our care. My fiancé works full-time, while I work part-time with a flexible schedule, adjusting as needed with advance notice to prioritize our bookings. To ensure your pet isn't left home alone, please plan to book at least a month in advance so that I may adjust accordingly. On workdays, your pup may be left for up to 6 hours with my two friendly dogs, Denver and Khaleesi, in a safe, comfortable environment. I only work 3-4 days a week, ensuring that the majority of the time, I am home engaging, training, and adventuring with our pack. When I’m home, the day is filled with tailored enrichment—interactive puzzles, training games, outings, and social play. Whether it’s a long walk, a nature adventure, or a cozy snuggle session, every pup is included in the rhythm of our home. We believe in balancing activity with relaxation, ensuring your dog is both mentally and physically fulfilled.

Every day at A Nomadic Nimmie is an adventure! We believe in keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged, whether that means exploring the outdoors, solving puzzles, or simply enjoying a day of play and relaxation. Mornings often start with a stimulating activity—a nature walk, obedience games, or a food-finding challenge in our expansive, fully fenced backyard, where dogs can safely roam and play. If the weather is right, we might venture to a dog-friendly lake, a scenic hike, or a fun outing in town. We welcome any travel safety gear you provide, ensuring your pup rides safely and comfortably. Afternoons bring brain games, snuggles, and interactive play, from laser chasing to scent work and training exercises. And for the truly adventurous? If work takes us somewhere exciting, your pup might even tag along for a mini-vacation, complete with professional photos to capture the moment! At the end of the day, we wind down with cuddles, enrichment toys, and a cozy, relaxing evening, making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and right at home. ?✨

Caring for animals has been second nature to us since childhood. From raising my first dog into their golden years to training our first puppy together, my partner and I have embraced every stage of a pet’s life with dedication and love. With hands-on experience in training, feeding, bathing, and administering medication, we understand the unique needs of each dog, whether they are energetic working breeds or wise senior companions. We take pride in providing a safe, enriching environment, ensuring that all dogs in our care feel secure, engaged, and part of our family. Before any stay, we conduct a careful introduction to make sure everyone gets along—because safety and controlled socialization are always our top priorities. And to capture the adventure? We include professional-level photos with every stay, so you’ll always have a glimpse of your pup’s happy moments.

Not only do they really seem to care about animals and what they do but they spoiled my girl while she was in their care. They treated her like she was a part of their family. The beautiful photos I received are so so appreciated and I need to frame a few! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to care for your fur babies. 20/10!!!
