I currently am retired so spend much of the day at home. So your pet will have plenty of attention while you are at work for drop-in daycare or for boarding.

Safety, trust & environment
Currently I have an 10 month-old puppy that was crate trained. She pretty much goes with me most places I go. I do keep animals crated separately if there are other pets in our home if I have to step out. I know each pet parent has their own style, so I am open to whatever you prefer for your pet. I do stay home mostly during the day and take my puppy out several times a day for playtime in the backyard or sometimes we walk around my neighborhood. I know most pets have a routine that they like so I do like to try and stick to that if they have one. My home is quite and calm during the day unless it's playtime outside. I recently had to put down my 13-year-old heeler which she always did better in a home versus kennel environment when we were away. So, I try to make sure that those that I am caring for feel safe and try to keep them engaged and happy while their parents are not home. I have worked in training kennels and horse stables so used to being around many different animal personalities.

Information Michelle A. would like to know about your pet
Let me know any medications, quirks, or special needs your pet may have. Special treats or games they enjoy as well or commands they know for going potty.
A typical day
I have a large fenced backyard so we spend time playing in the yard. For more laid back dogs we can relax inside playing with toys, balls, or just hanging out in the A/C. For those that are looking for just drop-in or walks I try and spend at minimum 20 mins to make sure that each pet gets some exercise and a good potty break.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of big animals from horses to large dogs for years. Potty training assistance for puppies or if you have a Senior with extra needs no problem I've dealt with both so know sometimes, they just need some extra care and assistance.
Reviews

Michelle was great with my dog Mario who is a little nervous when meeting new people and dogs. He had a blast running around the back yard with all the dogs

Michelle accepted an 8 night stay on short notice! She was sensitive to not letting my bulldog overheat on the hot August days but when it was cool enough my bulldog loved playing in her yard trying to keep up with heeler pups!
Have used for short term stays when having to travel or if town for extended periods of time. Always willing to work with me and always treated my did like they were her own especiallyhaving a senior dog. Definitely recommend if needed just a drop in but definitely if looking for something besides a kennel for longer stays.
Michelle is close friend and when it comes to my puppy, she was always there to help us when we could not be home. She was always willing to help out last minute if needed to let out my dog who adores her. Being able to rely on her in a bind made getting my puppy potty trained when I was working much easier and helped to let us know she was able to get out during the day.
