Kindred Spirit Near Hiking Trails
I am a retired high school educator, artist, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. I am a five-star walker and a very reliable and compassionate caregiver for your pet. I often feel we are kindred spirits and I am totally intrigued by their individual personalities. I have cared for dogs both personally or professionally for most of my life and willingly care for your pet and their individual needs. Whether it be exploring adventure, padding the neighborhood (walking or running), gifting belly rubs, or providing hydration & nutrition, your pet’s needs will be personalized while in my care with much love and affection. In the future, I hope to rehabilitate dogs and work with their family members to provide a safe space filled with discipline, affection, and a true sense of belonging. You can depend on me and trust that your pet will feel cherished and loved while in my care.

My two pets had a wonderful stay with Michele- per usual! She truly ensures that they feel just like home! They get so much attention, long and frequent walks and so many snuggles! Feels like they are part of her family and that is how they are treated! Michele is our only dog sitter as I can’t imagine anyone else taking care of them when we are gone! She is always helpful and willing to make it work with our schedule. She and Ann are the best!!
Michele is the best. Whenever I leave my pups with her I know they are in great hands! She always takes care of them like they were her own! Lots of attention, love, plenty of walks (way more than they ever get at home). They always come back so happy and rested and I always say it’s like they are going on their own vacation. We are extremely lucky to have found Michele!
Michele cared for our two dogs recently during our trip. She was quick to respond during our communication. We appreciated the updates and photos Michele provided. I could tell our dogs were happy during the daily walks and were very content in the photos. We will contact Michele in the future.
I can't say enough good things about Michele! She was organized and responsive to our questions throughout the process. She sent us daily updates and pictures. She was VERY active with our dog (multiple walks every day). Highly recommended!!
The absolute BEST! I can’t begin to describe what a great experience it was every step of the way. Michelle was very accommodating and eager to make the stay as easy as possible for everyone. Fitz will be staying with Michelle whenever we are out of town
Michele took care of our sweet boy, Taiko, while we went on vacation and we (and he) couldn’t be happier that he got to stay with her. She showed him so much affection, played with him, took him on long walks, which he enjoys so much. Through the photos and videos Michele sent me, I could tell he was such a happy boy! Communication with Michele has always been wonderful as well. She is quick to respond and is very helpful and accommodating. Taiko was very conflicted when coming back home which only showed how great he felt with Michele. I would love for him to stay with her again in the future, I’d feel great knowing he’d be safe and I would have a peace of mind that he was in good hands!

Programa
Since retiring from teaching, my hours of 1:1 attention have expanded. I am now available to give full weekday hours to your pet in addition to my time during weekends.

While caring for pets in parks and neighborhoods, I keep them on a leash during all walks and runs. If we are lounging in the yard I provide the dog an opportunity to relax on a lead while I am outdoors with them. For owners who allow their dogs to visit Lakewood Dog Park’s expansive exercise area, I monitor those dogs while they run and play off leash under my constant supervision. While indoors, I follow the rules that my pet owners prefer whether it be cuddling on furniture and slumbering in bed with me or crating them within their cozy caves with their favorite snuggle toy. I do everything I can to mirror the eating, playing, and napping comfort with the same positive experiences your pet receives in your living home while throwing in a little extra spoiling 🐶❤️🐶
Un día normal
If permissible and the opportunity is available, I love exploring paths and trails with your dog in addition to regular neighborhood sidewalks and streets. I will often incorporate some running and play time and I am always attentive to their health and well-being.
