Pets have been part of my life since I was little. From dogs and cats to bunnies and rats, I’m comfortable with a range of different animals! I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family since I was young, so while I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to looking after other people’s beloved pets. I offer dog boarding, day sitting, and walking. I live in a ground floor flat with access to a shared garden (used by other dogs too) and a little private front garden, perfect for toilet breaks throughout the day if they’re not used to other dogs. My place is best suited to small to medium dogs. I’m also open to having two small dogs, just pop me a message. I work from home full time, so your pet will never be left alone for long and it gives me a great excuse to get out the house multiple times a day! My home is calm and welcoming, no children or other pets, and your pets are free to make themselves at home. They’re welcome on the furniture, though I’ll always respect your rules if you prefer otherwise. I’m also happy to administer oral medication if needed, so let’s with ongoing health needs are very welcome. Honestly, pet sitting is my way of having that loving energy back in my life. I genuinely miss having pets around and will give your pets all the love and attention they deserve!

Rev had a wonderful time with Michelle. He ran straight into her flat without hesitation. When I picked him up he was so relaxed and content. Michelle was amazing, she went for nice slow walks with him and I recieved loads of updates. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving Rev with Michelle. I knew he was safe and well looked after.
I've been using Michele as a dog sitter for several years now and have found her to be flexible, attentive and loving with my dog, who is a 9 month Jack Russell terrier. Due to her being home based I know my pup is constantly being watched instead of left alone for long periods and I appreciate that she continues the basic training that I insist on at home, such as sitting politely while lunch is being served. There is a safe, enclosed garden which is accessible during the day, rain or shine, and it is most disloyal that my dog starts wagging her tail and whining when we round the corner to Michele's house! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an extra hand during the day.

Schedule
I work from home full time, so I’m around all day every day! Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I build walks and outdoor time into my day and genuinely enjoy the excuse to get outside multiple times a day. Weekdays, evenings, and weekends all work for me.

I’ve been caring for friends’ and family’s pets for years, so I know how important trust is. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your fur baby is happy and settled. I’m also comfortable administering oral medication if needed.
A typical day
A typical day with me means plenty of walks, fresh air, and fun! We’ll explore my local area and head to a nearby park or Water of Leith Pathway for a good run around and sniff. Back home there’ll be playtime, cuddles, and plenty of rest time too. I like to keep dogs stimulated both physically and mentally so they’re happy and tired by the end of the day!
