As of January 2024, I am semi-retired and self-employed. My flexible schedule allows for plenty of time for playing fetch and going for several daily walks.

I currently have no other animals of my own in my home. Therefore, I have lots of room in my home and my ❤️ to care for your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard and a dog-friendly, quiet neighborhood for walks and play time. I will base activities on their age, size and energy level. I have patience and understanding in caring for dogs who may be a little nervous at first, especially if it’s their first time away from family. I will keep you updated on our adventures so that you can rest easy and feel confident that your four-legged family member is in good hands.

Information Michele H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or instructions (like keeping off of furniture), or if there are any training or behavioral issues you are working on.
A typical day
I love to be outdoors and think exercise is important for humans and animals. We will take several daily walks and smell lots of mailboxes and maybe make a new friend or two while out exploring. I like to play fetch, but if your dog is not into that, we would have playtime with stimulating toys or do some basic training. When it’s time to chill, we will hit the couch (or the floor) for some belly rubs or back scratching and maybe watch a fun movie.

Pet care experience
While I do not currently have a four-legged friend of my own, I have raised and cared for dogs and cats over the past 30+ years. I have also cared for dogs and cats for friends and neighbors. My experience includes fostering rescue dogs of different breeds (mostly pit bulls), size, age and temperament. I love all dogs and appreciate their unique personalities and energy levels. I will provide basic training, lots of playtime, walks, belly rubs, cuddles, whatever your fur baby needs… I will treat them as my own and give them lots of love & affection. You can rest easy knowing that while you are away, your paws are in good hands, receiving the attention they deserve. To ensure that our time together is stress-free and safe, I will not watch dogs from multiple households. 🐶❤️
Reviews

I found Michele last minute for a booking and she was nothing short of amazing to my dog Stella! Will definitely use again

Michele watched our 2 chocolate labs for an overnight and took such great care of our boys! She provided a meet and greet prior, was so welcoming and sent pictures while we were away. We highly recommended Michele!
Michele is an excellent sitter! Amber had a wonderful stay. Michele took her on many adventures,Amber loves her walks. Michele kept us up to date with her daily pictures of our girl. She took care of Amber's daily medication too. We will book with Michele in the future! I highly recommend Michele, she is a 5 star sitter!!!!

Another great stay with Michele💛
