Your Pet's Home Away from Home
Hi! My first gift as a baby was a white german shepherd named Pepper that I grew up with and I've been a dog owner ever since. Friends even brought me a stray found on campus at GWU, Wiggles. He was our house mascot. And I've owned and cared for dogs ever since. I started rescuing dogs in 2010 in Oakland. I found forever homes for 13 dogs. Your dog will be safe, made comfortable and well cared for by me. I'm happy to care for senior dogs or puppies and anyone in between. I am attentive. Responsive to them and focused to obey your instructions concerning your fur baby. I want them to be happy while you're away and I want you to be comfortable while they're in my care. Most of all, if anything happens, I know how to respond quickly. My 12yo Weimaraner Gideon passed away during the pandemic. I've been fostering. This just seems like another way for me to play with and care for a new dog until I get another one. I look forward to meeting you and your pet.

Michele did an excellent job caring for my boxer while I was away on vacation. My boxer was happy and came home healthy. I am grateful to God for having found Michele on Rover, and am grateful for the level of care Michele provided to my big boy. (My boxer is 90 lbs). Thanks Michele, for a job well done!
Michele was great and provided fun updates and photos throughout my dog’s stay! She was also very accommodating to my scheduling needs! Loved that we could do thorough meet n greet prior to the scheduled stay, which really helped my dog and I feel extremely comfortable. I would definitely book with Michele again.
Michele was excellent with your dog, Mila. Mila is not very outgoing, but she she quickly got comfortable with Michele. Michele is very attentive and calm which put our minds at ease. She provided regular updates and pictures. I would certainly go to her again.
Michele is very knowledgeable about dogs. She took good care of Maxwell and made him feel at home. I like that Michele accepts one client at a time and was able to administer medication. We will use her services in the future.
Michele is an angel! I don't think I would have been able to leave my boy anywhere else. He's a very anxious guy with separation anxiety and there was not a moment I was worried about him after I left him with Michele. She cares for him as her own.

I'm a professional writer and program developer so my schedule is flexible which makes caring for your dog and its needs really easy. I am able to maintain whatever schedule you've established at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will have full run of the house and will be encouraged to make themselves at home. Their crate and food/water will be set up in places where they can be seen and made comfortable.
A typical day
I will maintain the schedule that you have established with your pet. In addition, I can take them to a local dog park after rush hour so they can play with just me or with your permission, they can play with other dogs. They can also come with me in the car to run errands and we can have fun on the way - pup cups, impromptu walks and other fun.
