I'm retired, so very flexible for scheduling. Overnights are my specialty, rather than drop-ins. Unlike many sitters, I don't need to leave during the day, so your pets receive constant care and pampering.

Any medical issues, allergies, dog reactivity, quirks, ( like a penchant for eating paper products), ID and chip, favorite treats and toys, play style. Also routines, like feeding and walk times. Structure helps with the transition.
A typical day
Enrichment is a special interest of mine, I love making treat puzzles, as they engage all the senses. Learning your dog's play language is important to me, as it establishes a bond very quickly. If you like, I will reinforce your training methods, like sitting before exiting a door, for example. For walks, and exercise, there's nothing better than a "sniffari", whether it be in the woods or in the neighborhood.

I recently brushed up on my skills such as training, enrichment, medical and general care, while workcamping at an animal shelter in N.M., this spring. I also love to care for plants and gardens.
