I’ve had dogs my entire life and am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors who need a slower pace and extra attention. I take a calm, reliable approach and focus on each dog’s individual routine, safety, and comfort. What sets me apart is my peaceful, low-stress home in a quiet country setting in the town of Bleecker inside of the Adirondack Park, where dogs receive one-on-one attention, consistent care, and plenty of space to relax. Your dog will be treated like family and cared for as if they were my own.

Michele has been around various amounts & types of dogs in my many years of knowing her, including my own dogs whom love her! I would recommend Michele to any owners for she is focused on making sure their needs are met in a comfortable, loving & safe way for all dogs of all sizes. Shes one of those people you just know is a dog person by how much she (& the dog) lights up when interacting together. Being a dog owner herself, she & her home are the perfect fit for anyone seeking an extra loving hand to help with their furbaby.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Michele as a pet caregiver. She cared for our two large dogs and two cats with so much love, patience, and responsibility. From daily routines to extra cuddles, every detail was handled with care. Our pets were happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved while we were away, which gave us complete peace of mind. It is such a blessing to know our animals were in such kind and capable hands.
Michele is great with Cookie, even though Cookie can be a grumpy old lady (18 years young) there is always care and consideration for how Cookie is feeling in the moment. Michele is very considerate and thoughtful about how Cookie needs soft treats and smaller sized treats, even ripping some apart to be a better size. I feel completely comfortable leaving Cookie in her care.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m always home and structure my days around consistent feeding times, walks, play, and downtime, so dogs always have attention and companionship. Living in a quiet country setting allows for a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of space to relax and enjoy fresh air. I keep a predictable routine while adjusting to each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. Whether it’s daily walks, enrichment, or quiet companionship, caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and prioritize.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a quiet country home with plenty of outdoor space. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and taken outside on a leash so they can safely explore and enjoy the fresh air. Safety is always my top priority. Please let me know if your pup is off-leashed trained, so I may work with them after they are comfortable on the property. Dogs in my care will also have the companionship of my friendly corgi, Ginger, who is well-socialized and enjoys being around other dogs. The newest addition to my household is Nori, a corgi puppy. She currently has a lot of energy and is in training, doing very well. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Your dogs and my dogs are allowed on the couch and the bed. We love to snuggle up!

A typical day
We are an active family. We play frisbee, take lots of walks, and visit the stream on the property. My pups get at least four plays per day. If the weather is good (not too cold and not raining) we prefer to play outside. Otherwise we have plenty of toys of all kinds for our dogs to have fun!
