I am a full-time dog walker and pet sitter! After quitting my job as an environmental scientist, my husband and I embarked on a two-year trip around the world. We now live in La Costa and my husband is a head chef at Goodonya in downtown Encinitas.

I have a large fenced yard where our dog Max loves to play fetch in. It has shaded areas and really nice green grass. Baby our cat has full run of the upstairs and we have trained our dog to not go up there. I do have a pet gate for the bottom of the stairs so we won't have to worry about your dog if it does not like cats.

I have taken care of animals my entire life. I am pretty comfortable with all animals and their needs, but please don't hesitate to reach out to me to talk about your pets need ahead of time. For example: What are your pets sleeping arrangements? Do they have specific feeding times? How often would you like me to walk them? Do they get along with other dogs/cats? How long can they be left unsupervised? Are they potty trained? Do they bark a lot or chew on things?
A typical day
We will go on walks, hikes, and runs! I love to go on runs and would love to bring your dog with me on some fun trails! I live 10 minutes from the beach, so a beach day is always a good idea!

I now live in Carlsbad, CA with my husband, his parents, our very lazy cat named Baby, our extremely sweet Australian Shepard dog, Max, and our newest addition Rocket. Rocket is a 10 month old Papillon and acts tuff when he first greets a dog but has gotten along with all the dogs I take care of. I have a very open schedule, so I will be able to spend lots of quality time with your pets. Walks, hikes, casual strolls? I can do it all!!
