We have adopted our pup Kona in 2018 when he was about 11 months old. During that time we were full-timing in an RV, traveling across the country. Until March 2022, when we purchased our first house in Rimrock, AZ, the three of us have spent every day and night together in our camper. We raised him, played with him, trained him, hiked with him and loved every minute of it. We are both adventurous, outdoor kind of people who enjoy caring for and being around animals. We don't have any kids so we treat our pup Kona like our furry four legged baby. We raised a little furry human who is calm, smart, sensitive, curious, loves to explore and loves to people watch :) We are both currently working from home so we have plenty of time to play with your pup and keep an eye on them. We are available for daycare and boarding during the week and on the weekends as well. We live in Rimrock, AZ and are conveniently located 5 min off of I-17, close to all; 10min from Camp Verde, 15min from Cornville, 20min from Oak Creek and Cottonwood, 30min from Sedona, 40min from Jerome, 50min from Flagstaff and Prescott. We live on this wonderful retreat-like 1acre property of which half an acre is fully fenced. It is a true Desert Oasis for your pup, an ideal place for dogs. It features a beautifully landscaped back yard with mature treas; it gives your pup a huge area to run around and play, with plenty of shade everywhere. We have a doggie pool, plenty of toys and of course a handsome companion named Kona to play with. There is a doggy door to the house where your pup can enjoy our comfortable couches or cool tile in the kitchen :) In order to ensure that all the pups that stay with us are safe and happy we do not accept pups that are aggressive in their behavior. Thank you for understanding. Before you drop off your pup with us please make sure they have all the shots and have been treated for fleas. If your pup has not been spayed of neutered please let us know and bring appropriate coverings/pads. Please bring snacks for your pup, it's best to feed them what they already know and are used to so their tummy stays nice and healthy. If you wish to bring your own bedding please do so. We know leaving your furry baby is emotional for you as well as your pup so first we make sure to give them all the attention and love they need and second, we make sure to provide you with updates, photos and videos throughout their stay with us. To sum up, we have the perfect environment for your pup to feel comfortable, safe, happy, relaxed and definitely not bored :) The true Desert Oasis awaits! We are both working from home so we have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups! We are available for boarding 7 days a week :) We have a 6ft tall fence around our large yard to keep the pup safe. We are also working on a little playground for dogs with agility course towards the back of our property. Our house has 3 bedrooms with a large and open living / dining area to enjoy.
