A typical day
I look at pet sitting as enrichment time for us both! Whether they want cuddles, walks, playtime, mental stimulation, or quiet companionship. I enjoy adapting to each pet's personality such that they're not just "being watched" but that it's bonus time where they feel extra special and maybe even get to do things/go places that their humans are too busy for. For example, high value treats scattered in a snuffle mat or even just grass gives their brain time to decompress and let their nose do what it was made to do. I have all kinds of simple easy ways to benefit their day.

Loving dogs is easy. I grew up with them since childhood but really learned a lot through my experience working with them at the animal shelter. Walks, training, play yard, behavior attunement/enrichment. I find it so rewarding to meet their needs in a really conscientious way! Our time together will be more than passive pet care; it makes me happy to benefit their lives in whatever way I can. I also offer higher intensity exercise like jogging or rollerblading for dogs who match the need and capability.

Kind, energetic, and animal oriented, Micah is the perfect person to trust with your furry friends. Micah is in tune to dog’s different personalities and needs, and she genuinely cares about your pet’s wellbeing. Highly recommend her services, especially if you have anxiety about your dog being with a stranger, that anxiety will be quickly alleviated.
I hate leaving my animals at home while I travel, but knowing a true animal lover is home with them makes me sleep so much easier! Micah is such a kind soul and her love of animals truly shows. Micah was in charge of watching our cats, chickens, and home while my husband and I were out of town for a week. Micah left our house nice and clean and sent plenty of photos and videos of our animal crew while we were gone. She paid close attention to my novel of notes/requests and was sure to ask questions/get clarification before we left. She was so kind to keep my house plants watered and was sure to double check if anything in the garden needed attention while we were gone. I would absolutely love to have Micah watch our animals and home again in the future!
