Growing up with dogs my whole life, I’ve had countless years of hands-on experience in addition to fostering with local shelters including young puppies, mama dogs with litters, and large-breed dogs. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities, and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, maintaining routines, and providing senior care. While I am currently doing in-home sitting due to having a cat of my own, I’m very happy to do long walks or other enrichment outings to make sure dogs get plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. I take pride in being calm, attentive, and genuinely invested in every pet’s well-being.

Michaela was wonderful! She took great care of our dogs! She sent us a bunch of pictures everyday we were gone with updates on how they were doing! She even cleaned up the house for us while we were gone! She vacuumed and picked up dog poop. We would definitely hire her again in the future!
Michaela did an amazing job taking care of my two dogs! She was very communicative, responsible, and clearly cared about making sure they were comfortable and well looked after while I was away. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She kept me updated and made sure their routines were followed, which I really appreciated. Michaela is a 10 out of 10 and I cannot recommend her enough, especially if you have dogs with big personalities or anxiety. I have two dogs, one is reactive and one is really nervous around new people, so finding someone I trust is not easy. Before we even started regular visits, Michaela was willing to do an extra visit just so my girls 🐶 could get comfortable with her. She did not have to do that, and it made such a huge difference. On top of that, she showed up in the rain, and my dogs absolutely hate the rain. She still got both of them outside to use the bathroom, kept them calm, and stayed the full visit. The report card she left was so detailed and thoughtful it genuinely made my day. She just really does whatever it takes to make them feel safe and comfortable and you can tell she actually cares. If your dogs need a little extra patience, she is your person. Book her!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
As a college student wrapping up my degree and currently taking just one class, I’m blessed with a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends, and have a spacious SUV that comfortably fits crates and dogs of all sizes, so getting to and from visits, walks, dog parks, hikes, or in-home sitting is never an issue. I’m able to plan my day around pets’ routines, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or longer visits for extra attention and exercise.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to provide all of my pet care in home so they can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment. I closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise through walks, playtime, and enrichment, and I’m happy to do longer walks for higher-energy dogs. I also use Rover myself, so I truly understand the trust it takes to have someone care for your pet and be in your home. I treat every animal with the same respect, attentiveness, and care that I expect for my own cat. Cleanliness, safety, clear communication, and genuine love for each pet are always my top priorities.

A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and mentally stimulated while their owners are away. For dogs, this can include walks of any length, playtime with toys, training games, fetch, or even just some quality cuddle time if they prefer to relax. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with wands or toys, gentle petting, and creating a calm, enriching environment. I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and needs, making sure they feel loved, engaged, and comfortable.
