We are Paul and Michaela, a professional couple who recently moved back from Vancouver after a year abroad in New Zealand where we petsat for over 20 animals. We absolutely love animals of all kinds and for multiple years have taken care of a farm on Vancouver Island with goats, bees, chickens and cats. We have experience taking care of elderly pets, rescue dogs and pets with medical needs. We absolutely adore each animal that we get to take care of, and we often form lasting friendships with both the pet and pet owner.

I can’t recommend Michaela and Paul more highly as pet sitters, house sitters and all round fabulous human beings. They have looked after our home and our beloved big rescue girl Tilly on many occasions and for long periods of time and it gave me complete peace of mind knowing that these two super kind and caring people were in charge. Tilly has some quite challenging behaviours but they understood her big emotions and created a truly special bond. I was very sad when Michaela and Paul left New Zealand but am delighted to know that they will continue to spread their love and kindness to all the Canadian doggos who need looking after while their Mums and Dads are away.
Paul and Michaela were exceptional pet sitters for my cat and they left our house spotlessly clean. Most of all they were super communicative and gave me regular updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again if I’m ever out of town.
We had Michaela and Paul come and look after our cat and dog while we were overseas for two weeks. They were fantastic! They had great communication, sent us lots of lovely updates and photos, left the house super tidy and clean and most importantly- the pets were super happy with them! It was such a successful pet sitting that we asked them to come back several times. Highly, highly recommended!

Schedule
We both work full time from 9-5, but we are great at taking pets for walks before and after work as needed! We also have a car and can easily take your pet on adventures, if they would enjoy something new.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety and comfort of your pets is our top concern. We are diligent at following instructions and working with pet owners to make sure their pet is safe and happy. We often check in with pet owners as much as they would like and ensure that there is good communication.
A typical day
We absolutely love taking dogs on adventures whether it’s to the beach, dog park or to a hiking trail it is so much fun seeing dogs in their element.
