While I’m new to Rover, I have over 6 years of professional dog walking and boarding experience through another pet care platform. I’ve cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities and I grew up with cats as well. I provide a calm and attentive home environment for every pet in my care. Clear communication is important to me and I always keep owners updated with messages, photos, and videos while they’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and accommodate specific needs. Michaela was so wonderful to Oliver, and sent so many updates of him playing and even put on his favorite sheep channel on tv 🥺 she also fed him his kibble just the way we asked (he likes it a special way!) Overall such a caring and responsible person and would definitely trust her with our dog again :)
I’m so grateful to Michaela for taking care of Sago over the 4th of July weekend. My friends and I were always looking forward to the pictures and videos of all the cute activities she and Sago got up to. They honestly made our day every time. Like most dogs, Sago got a little anxious during the fireworks, but Michaela was amazing through it all, keeping him calm, comfortable, and feeling safe. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and truly cared for him like her own. I came home to one happy pup, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Michaela was a wonderful caregiver for my dog Theo while I was away for a period of 5 days. Before committing, we had a short meet & greet, per the suggestion of Michaela, in Pan Pacific Park. This meeting gave me the confidence that she could take care of a high-energy dog like Theo.. During Theo's stay with Michaela, she went above and beyond to provide multiple photo and video updates daily, which I deeply appreciated, and gave me confidence that Theo was happy, settled, and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Michaela and will definitely book with her again!
Michaela is a phenomenal pet caretaker. She has now walked and pet-sat for our dog and has been nothing short of ideal. She is a great, responsive communicator and clearly knows how to keep our pup happy. He took to her immediately. When we needed a pet-sitter on short notice, she was flexible, easy to plan with, and did a wonderful job taking care of our sweet boy. She also takes the best pictures to keep you updated. Her prices are fair and we appreciate how thoughtful she is in making sure our dog felt happy and comfortable when with her. Will definitely work with her again!
Michaela took great care of our dog, Packer! Packer can be a little anxious at first with strangers, but he warmed right up to Michaela and had a great day. She gave him lots of walks and he was a very happy pup when we got him home. Highly recommend!
Michaela is truly the best! I feel so lucky to have found her. She takes such thoughtful, attentive care of Roux and always goes above and beyond to make her visits feel extra special. I love how many updates she sends; it gives me so much peace of mind knowing exactly how she’s doing. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares, and Roux absolutely adores her. I couldn’t recommend Michaela more highly!

Schedule
I’m currently home full-time so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and I can provide regular walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I’m able to maintain your dog’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks and rest time to help them feel comfortable and settled.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a cozy 800 sq ft one bedroom apartment on the second floor of a small, quiet building. There’s central heating and window A/C in both the living room and bedroom to keep pets comfortable year round. I’m located right next to a large park with a lot of grassy areas and baseball fields where dogs can run and play (with your permission). Inside, pets are welcome on the couch and bed so they can feel at home and I can absolutely crate your dog if that’s part of their normal routine. I always follow each pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide. Safety is a priority in my home - I keep floors clear, food secured and any potentially harmful items out of reach. Dogs are supervised and never left alone for extended periods.
A typical day
A typical day includes walks around my neighborhood and the park near my home, lots of sniffing, exploring, and playtime with toys and puzzle games to keep your dog mentally engaged. I like balancing physical activity with mental stimulation so they’re happy and tired by the end of the day! For dogs who enjoy longer adventures, I can take them on extended walks, light hikes, or play fetch at the park. Between activities, they’ll have a calm and cozy space to relax.
