I’m a traveling dog sitter! I make any request work as best I can. I love getting to incorporate dogs in my daily life as much as I can so I’m quite open and flexible. I work the in the tourism/travel industry which leaves me some freedom to pick and choose dates.

I will almost always be caring for animals in the clients home or accommodation. My landlords do not allow me to host pets unattended or overnight. Pets are welcome to come and go with me to my place throughout the day. I am happy to coordinate pick ups and drop offs that are easiest for you.

I just like to know how owners prefer their dog be cared for. Do they have a routine they are used to? Particular eating habits/needs? Favorite toys? Favorite walking/running spots? Common behaviors? How do they do in the car? How are they off leash?
A typical day
Whatever pets are typically comfortable with of course. I love taking dogs to dog friendly outdoor spaces on or off leash. Does your pet like to go for a swim or walk by the water? Perhaps they would be interested in a pet safe art project to make for their owner. Maybe pets wanna go for a ride in the car and visit a new place! We’re all about the adventures here.

Hello welcome I love dogs! Based in West Yellowstone and willing to travel. I’ll take your sweet angel on an adventure while you adventure in Yellowstone. I have experience owning, fostering, rescuing, and training dogs! Beyond dog sitting for a variety of clients in a variety of locations, I have also spent time working in dog rescues and with programs that train service animals. I am also a local guide in the National Park and general area if you have questions for your trip to Yellowstone :) (or Grand Tetons!) ((or Glacier!!))

Michaela was AMAZING!! Highly highly recommend! She was so flexible and understanding with travel variations (and lack of signal throughout). She also kept us posted with pictures of our pup and a lake swimming adventure she took him on even! It helped us be able to really enjoy the trip and know that our pup was being so well taken care of!
Michaela was fantastic. She was very flexible and gentle with Charlie and goofy. Our pups had a great time with her while we peacefully visited Yellowstone over 3 days. Highly recommend her!
