Hello welcome I love dogs! Based in West Yellowstone and Island Park. All services are priced the same. Regardless of which service you’re looking for it will likely result in me picking up your pet at your accommodation or a neutral meeting point. Spending the day with your pet (and likely several others) at my home and outdoor locations. Then dropping pets back off to owners upon unpredicted returns from the park. Please contact me for questions and other inquiries about price, services, etc. I have experience owning, fostering, rescuing, and training dogs! Beyond dog sitting for a variety of clients in a variety of locations, I have also spent time working in dog rescues and with programs that train service animals. I am also a local guide in the National Park and general area if you have questions for your trip to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, or Glacier.

Michaela is fantastic. She took great care of our dog two days in a row while we visited the park. She sent pictures throughout the day (for when we got cell service randomly), and was really flexible with pick up and drop off. Our dog had a great mix of exercise and relaxing, Michaela took her to an off leash area to play and chase the ball and also back to her house for some relaxing. I would absolutely use her dog sitting services again and highly recommend.
Michaela has been one of the best dog sitters we have ever had. She came to our Airbnb the evening before Bear’s first scheduled day to meet us and our Bear. As soon as Bear met her he fell in love with her and I knew she was going to be the right fit. Michaela gave me such a peace of mind all week knowing that Bear was with a loving and responsible sitter for the days we went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. She sent pictures of Bear playing outside with his new friends, resting at her house and going for car rides. She was extremely flexible for both drop off and pick up which allowed us to enjoy our time in the parks without feeling rushed or pressured to be back at the exact time. We loved her so much we are considering flying her in whenever we travel for lengthy periods of time and we can’t take Bear with us. I would give her 10 ⭐️ s if I could. We will miss her greatly.
I would highly recommend Michaela. Her communication was excellent. She picked up and dropped off our dog at our hotel, which was a major convenience for us. She took photos of him throughout the day. The photos showed that he enjoyed laying in several dog beds that she had at her home. She said she took our dog for a long walk, which he needs.
Everything went perfect. Communication was nice and easy all the time, and our dog was really happy.
Michaela was the answer to our prayers. She took such great care of Otis for 3 days, freeing us up to explore Yellowstone without worries, knowing he was being well care for. She came to our campground when we arrived for a meet & greet, and picked him up the next morning. We arranged convenient pick up and drop off every day at West Yellowstone Visitor's Center. She sent happy dog photos daily. He came home happy and tired every day.
I felt very safe leaving Cooper with Michaela. She has a great pick up and drop off service. She sent pictures of Cooper throughout the day so I could see that he was getting some exercise and chilling with the other dogs. He came home tired so I know he had a good time. I really appreciate Michaela and highly recommend her to anyone needing a petsitter.

Schedule
I’m a traveling dog sitter! I make any request work as best I can. I love getting to incorporate dogs in my daily life as much as I can so I’m quite open and flexible. I work in the tourism/travel industry which leaves me some freedom to pick and choose dates.

A common day consists of making my rounds to pick up pets in the morning. Spending the day with them at my home or several outdoor locations for adventures. Then dropping pets back off to their owners upon unpredictable returns from the park. It’s not likely you will have cell service in the park but I will continue to send updates and photos as well as coordinate pick up and drop off times and locations. If you have a different preference for your pet such as keeping them at your accommodation as a home base for check ins and walks I am very flexible to fit different needs and schedules.
A typical day
There are a few off leash areas I like to take pets mostly to get to know one another, get out some sniffs, and do their business. If pets are not protective of toys then I will introduce those after first meetings. At my house I have dog beds, toys, treats, lick mats and more. Plenty to keep them comfortable inside and outside.
