I’ve lived in the Blacksburg area for almost a year now after accepting admission into Virginia Tech. Currently I’m working a part time job over the summer where I have been working early mornings starting at 5am and ending around 11am. I’m able to provide early morning care before my shift and in the afternoon when I am off. Along with care in the evening time as well.

A typical day
I would love to know all the things your pet loves before they’re in my care so I can make the visit as enlightening and as comfortable as possible for them. I enjoy doing enrichment activities and sniff walks with my dogs to make sure they’re being mentally stimulated enough as well as hikes and playing ball to get their energy out.

I’ve always been a huge lover of animals ever since I was little and have always had a passion for providing them the best care possible. I have nearly three years of Veterinary experience working as an assistant and am currently attending college to further my education in veterinary medicine. Over the years I’ve assisted with my mom’s petsitting business, volunteered and fostered with my local shelter and have taken various animal care based classes throughout my college career. I have experience with pets of nearly every temperament, age and special needs and have provided care for animals in various different circumstances through sickness and in health.

Michaela did a great job dog sitting Zoey for 6 days. She updated us with pictures multiple times a day and Zoey looked very happy. She also left the apartment clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use her services again!
