Animal lover and playtime pro!
I’ve spent my whole life around animals, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. I’m familiar with dogs of every size and my family’s senior dog taught me how to be patient, gentle, and attentive to pets who need a little extra support. I’m also a huge cat person and have one of my own (also a senior kitty), so I understand everything from slow‑blink affection to the occasional dramatic zoomies. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, understood, and cared for!!

Michaela is very professional and great at communicating. She was in touch promptly and very accommodating. She took such good care of Crispy. She’s willing to do extra long walks which my puppy needs. She’s a natural with dogs as well and very gentle and affectionate. Crispy and I can’t wait to book her again!
Michaela did a fantastic job caring for my senior dog Roxy towards the end of her life. Roxy had a lot of medical issues including incontinence and Michaela did a great job managing these difficulties and I definitely will use her for any and all future needs with animal care!

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student so my availability varies during the week because of my classes. Some days I’m free in the mornings and others in the afternoons or evenings. If you send me your preferred timing, I’ll let you know right away whether it fits my class schedule. I keep my calendar updated and I’m always happy to coordinate! Below is my current availability: M: 6am-11am, 5pm-11pm T: 6am-5pm W: 6am-11am, 8pm-11pm F: Open Sa/Su: Open

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress‑free as possible. I follow the schedule you already have in place and I pay attention to the little habits that make them feel comfortable. I’m patient with shy animals, gentle with seniors, and happy to match the energy of more playful pets! In my own home, I keep things calm, clean, and pet‑friendly. I’m used to dogs of all sizes and I grew up with a senior dog, so I’m comfortable with pets who need slower walks, extra help, or a bit more monitoring. I also currently have a cat of my own, so I understand the importance of boundaries, introducing new animal friends, and giving attention when they ask for it. No matter the setting, I try to make pets feel understood, safe, and cared for and like they’re spending time with someone who enjoys their company as much as you do!!
Pets
A typical day
I like to tailor activities to what each pet enjoys! My parents dog loves to play ball so I’m used to always throwing a toy or playing tug. As for cats, I understand that they each have their own personalities so making sure they feel cared for no matter the activity.
