The longest times I am away from the home are on Sundays from 7am to 1pm for my secondary job managing a coffee shop. The rest of the week is dedicated to dogs! Monday through Friday, I am usually out walking dogs in the area between the hours of 10:30am and 1:30pm. Otherwise, I am home loving on both my own personal puppers and the puppers visiting with us! We incorporate our fur babies into our daily living- they are vital parts of our life! Please note that due to my Sunday schedule, I am unavailable for drop off or pick up until AFTER 2:00pm on Sundays.

I have a secure, fenced in yard and 3 friendly pups to keep your dog company! Your fur baby will get constant attention! We have plenty of dog toys to share as well as lots of outdoor space to run and play. My son has a great understanding of how to interact with pups and is used to playing with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He understands boundaries! Please let me know of any questions or concerns. NOTE: In order to maintain my home as a flea-free space, all dogs that enter MUST be on flea prevention.

If you are boarding with us, it is important to ensure your dog is happy to spend time with other dogs, as well as is good with children. My son spends half of his day at preschool but will be home in the afternoon/evenings.
A typical day
I love cuddling with pups but understand if some doggy friends need space! Many dogs that come to our home treat it like a vacation if they are not used to having a secure space to run free! I prefer to spend time outdoors so the backyard is our happy place. It is also a great place for your dog to learn socialization skills with other dogs. My personal dogs absolutely love when new pups visit. Dogs that need extra care, such as medicinal needs, problems from old age, immobility, or bathing, will receive the care they need and deserve! My personal pups are used to being around other dogs of all shapes and sizes, however, if your dog is not used to being around other pups, Meet and greets are a must for this to be able to happen! They will be very excited to meet new dogs at first, but warm up and calm down quickly. Please let me know the types of activities your dog prefers so I can cater to his/her needs.

NOTE: Before you consider requesting a dog walk, please know my daily walk schedule is USUALLY booked up at 12:00pm due to it being the #1 requested walk time. Please consider booking a different time for dog walks!**** My name is Michaela and I have been dog-sitting pups all over North Carolina since 2015. I have worked with pups of all shapes and sizes-- from tiny teacup Yorkies and Chihuahuas, to giant polar bear sized Great Pyrenees-- and everything in between! When I am not keeping Rover friends, I often foster animals for CMPD Animal Control and help find pets loving homes. I have known and loved so many canine friends in my life and am so excited to make more! My life revolves around 3 things: my kid, coffee, and DOGS. I have spent the past 4 years as a stay at home/work from home mom. I part-time manage a church-owned coffee shop (and work is mostly done from home except for on Sundays). Nowadays, I spend the majority of my time with dogs all around our area! When I am home, I spend a lot of time in our completely secured, fenced in backyard-- with doggy friends encouraging me while I manage the veggie garden! I have experience caring for many medical needs for pups; including senior dogs, pups with skin issues, diabetic dogs, and those with sensitive stomachs. I am happy to accommodate specific needs should your fur baby have any. Please give me details of exactly what your dog requires, and I will ensure that he/she will be treated like royalty! ***My current daily dog walk schedule is always booked at 12 noon Monday-Thursday (I usually have a waitlist for this time slot). Currently, I have availability between 9am and 11:00am, so please consider booking mid-morning 😊
