Hi, I’m Michaela 👋🐾 I am a fully licensed and insured home dog boarder with a genuine lifelong love for animals. I hold an OFQUAL Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare and I am fully trained in Canine First Aid and CPR, so your dog’s safety is always my top priority. I previously worked in a veterinary practice for a year, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in animal care and handling emergency situations. That experience gave me a deep understanding of dog health, behaviour and wellbeing. I have been surrounded by animals all my life, and friends and family have always trusted me to care for their pets. I treat every dog that stays with us as part of the family — with patience, kindness and lots of affection. At home, I have a friendly 4-year-old Weimaraner who absolutely loves making new friends and enjoys playtime and walks. Our Jack Russell Elvis had the best time at Michaela house, Michaela kept us upto date daily with pictures of Elvis having fun as well as a daily briefing of what he had been upto, as well as Michaela having a large garden including a lake which Elvis would run around, Michaela would take Elvis out on the beach which is within meters of her house. We previously took Elvis to our local kennels but they closed their business in 2023 which made us look elsewhere, We now feel so lucky this happened as now Elvis has just recently had the best time while we have been away living in a more normal day to day life as he does at home ? We would highly recommend Michaela and her home / family we now feel we are so lucky we can leave Elvis where he will be a 100% happy.
Michaela and her family have the most beautiful open space and home for any dog of any size! We were really lucky to find her available at last minute for our lurcher! He has boundless energy and got on with the hosts family dog right from the start. A very loving, warm and kind environment. It really was the most perfect home from home for our dog and we were kept updated with photos and videos of him on the beach, living his best life, living how we live.... with a young child, the same age as our daughter, for company and tummy rubs! There was not an ounce of anxiety felt leaving our dog with complete strangers for the first time ever. We have never used boarders before. We knew from meeting them that our dog would be happy there. If I could mark the stars as 10/10 I would! Definitely helped us relax on our holiday. We would recommend Michaela and her lovely family to anyone who wants to board a dog with them. We will definitely use them again in the future! Superb communication and our dog was clearly shown the love and respect in the same we that we do! Thank you once again! We will see you soon ?
Best holiday for my dog- buddy ever, I honestly felt he didn’t want to come back as had enjoyed it that much. I would highly recommend other people to use for dog sitting as the property has a lot of gated land for dogs to run around and are well cared for!
Michaela is amazing! We was very last minute due to being let down and michaeala was very helpful with her fast replies. Lovely lady and really made us feel assured that Luna was in good hands, beautiful home and garden for Luna she loved it and kept us updated with lots of pics of videos of Luna enjoying her stay. Would definitely recommend! :)
Michaela looked after our beloved Maltese dog Casper for a few days whilst we were away. Casper was at ease instantly in their lovely home and had lots of grounds and outdoor space to explore. I felt comfortable and happy leaving him in her care and would definitely recommend and use this service again!

Schedule
This is my full-time job, so I’m home all day and able to give your fur baby plenty of time, attention and care. I am fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, secure garden with high surrounding walls and a locked gate at all times, along with a Ring camera for added security. The garden is extremely private and not overlooked, with no immediate neighbours. There is also a pond, and dogs are welcome to swim if they enjoy it. I never leave dogs unattended while they are outside, so they are always supervised.

A typical day
I love going for a walk to our local private beach which is always very quiet, I always take some toys to the beach for the doggy’s to play with. I love to run along the beach and let the dogs splash in the puddles!
