I work from home and have part time school from home. I generally should be able to be home most of the night and day most of the time. If I need to leave for anything, I would keep the dogs separated in different bedrooms to make sure nothing happens while I’m out. I also have plenty of space for your dogs crate if they are crate trained.

I have a few spare leashes and generally take my dog on walks daily. I will let dogs into the fenced yard regularly. My dog tends to go out every 30 min to chase squirrels. If the dogs do well together, I will be open to that level of access to the yard. If they don’t, I will keep a baby gate up in the house so I can monitor when they are in the same space and take turns in the yard. My dog does not resource guard at all so they can have access to his toys if you wish. We have too many and we could use a few getting destroyed by a dog who actually uses them.

Pet care experience

I took care of animals for my neighbors during extended travel starting around 10 years old. I grew up cats, but now have a dog family member in adulthood. Admittedly, he was the first dog I had to care for on my own full time. I have worked on training with him, but really I can offer a place for your dog to stay, a separate room if needed, and a fenced in yard. My dog is super playful and will try to interact so only dogs that do well with other dogs should stay here. My dog is a neutered male and typically does well with either male or female dogs. He has been around unspayed females, however, he does not like being… mounted. With all that in mind, let me know if you think we may be a fit for you!

We’ve been lucky enough to work with Michaela several times now. She’s completely reliable and even administers a liquid medication to our elderly kitty. We are so grateful!

We feel so lucky to have found Michaela to care for our elderly kitty - and administer her twice daily medication! She is totally trustworthy and sends a pic of our girl, which is appreciated.

Michaela was amazing with our (very) elderly kitty, stopping by twice a day to ensure she got her medication and some lovin’. We loved getting Sunny’s report card and pic(s) each day!

I was very comfortable with Michaela coming into my home to care for my pets. My dogs and cats were very accepting of her. Even my skittish dog wanted pets from her. I will use her again, if the need arises and highly recommend her.
