Woodland Walks & Doggie Sleepovers with Nova!
Hi! We’re Mitch and Lauren, a dog loving couple based in Polegate with our playful 1.5 year old pup, Nova. She’s full of love, super sociable, and adores making new four legged friends. We know how important it is to find the right care for your dog, and we’d love to welcome them into our home and routine. Our Routine; We both work a 4-on, 4-off rota, which means there’s just one day every 8 days that we’re completely unavailable, and one night every 8 days where we’re both away. The rest of the time, we’re around and happy to give your pup all the attention, cuddles, and play they need. Daily Life with Us 🌳 One BIG Adventure Walk a Day – usually at Abbotts Wood, where dogs can explore woodland trails, scents, and nature. 🚶♂️ Smaller Walks – around the Cuckoo Trail, perfect for stretching paws and enjoying the fresh air. 🐾 Breaks in Between – plenty of pee/poo breaks and chances to stretch throughout the day. 🐶 Built-in Playmate – Nova loves other dogs and will keep your pup company with games, zoomies, or a nap pile on the sofa. Flexible scheduling around our rota so we can provide reliable care most of the time. As always it was a pleasure to leave Teddy with Mitch and Lauren, knowing that Teddy will be loved and well cared for, with lots of cuddles. He loves playing with their dog too and curls up asleep with her. I have no worries when I leave Teddy with them and they send me lots of updates, photos and videos. Such a lovely caring and attentive couple.
Michael (Mitch) and Lauren have just had our two fur babies for a week. Initially I was anxious - as one is, when leaving one's precious possessions with (relative) strangers. I had met and walked with them both a couple of times prior to leaving the dogs with them, so did feel more secure upon departure. NEEDN'T HAVE WORRIED! I received daily - probably thrice daily - updates about where they had been, how they were getting on with their dog, the quantity and colour of poo (not quite...!) - but the level of detail made me hugely reassured. I received photos and videos - more about my dogs than from the rest of my family put together I hasten to add! So, in short - should you leave your dogs with Michael? Yes, absolutely you should. Lovely couple, kind, real doggy people - your pets will be in safe hands. 100% recommended.

Lovely couple - Gimli had a lovely week. They are fantastic with daily updates so I never worried he wasn’t having a good little holiday! Will definitely be using again. Thank you so much.
Our retriever was treated incredibly, they gave us updates twice a day, photos, how he was and made sure to keep us in the loop! Highly recommended, they care so much, our dog had the best time!

Harmonogram
We both work 4 on, 4 off. So our schedule isn't reliable for a regular 9-5 worker... we can't for example do "Every Monday" but what we can offer is that one or both of us will be here for the other 7 days / 7 nights.

We live in a flat, this means we have to take our dog out regularly or risk the wrath of Nova's tiny bladder... So we're out with the dog regularly anyway, we take her for a big walk everyday, our dog has a GPS tracker on so we can measure that she gets enough exercise and she always hits her target or beyond. Our flat is filled with dog toys, dog beds and the dog owns the second sofa... and frankly our sofa too. They're welcome everywhere in our flat and will be taken out regularly for adventures!

We love to take the dogs out to Abbots wood alot, or down the cuckoo trail. We love a good playful dog who wants to jump around and chase balls or play with us and their toys, during the summer we enjoy a little paddle when the tides out at the beach. Our mentality is if we keep your dogs active and having fun during the day they can enjoy a relaxing evening well excercised and enjoy a good nights sleep!
