I will consult with you before appointment to go over any special needs and get a feel for the personality of your pet. Some pets want lots attention and others are shyer I can adjust to that. We can go over feeding and sleeping routines ahead of time.
A typical day
Depending on the dog or cat I can introduce some games or toys. Walking a dog to experience different smells is very important. For cats I have found even ten minutes of playtime can make their day and gain trust and put them at ease. I will definitely involve playtime with any pets I take care of.

Michael W took good care of our cuddly, chill dog Lou while we were out of town for five days. He took Lou on many walks and left the house spotless. Excellent care for my rescue kitty. My fussy tabby cat demands a lot of attention, play and affection and Michael cared well for him while I was away.
Michael was a phenomenal pet sitter for my 2 large dogs (lab and golden retriever). They are strong dogs and he expertedly was in command of walking them and taking them to the park simultaneously. He stayed in our home overnight and the dogs were so comfortable that they slept with him! He texted us an update and photo each day. It was very comforting to hear how the dogs were doing. We could tell from the photos they were happy and well taken care of. He was so neat and clean that we couldn't even tell he had stayed over. We highly recommend Michael as a pet sitter.
