Considerate of needs, loves dogs
Grew up with lots of different dogs, and started taking care of pets as a teenager. I've done it for friends over the years, and I'm currently studying to become a vetenary nurse assistant. I'm very careful with the needs of different dogs, and will listen to what you and your dog both need, and will keep you updated throughout my time with them.

Micheal was the perfect person for Rosie and she had a great stay. He sent lots of updates and videos telling us what a good time she was having. Micheal loves animals and it really show, Rosie loved him. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you Micheal for everything, we could be away knowing Rosie was in the best hands
Michael saved the day and accepted our request to look after Petal on such short notice. We’re staying nearby on holiday and it was just too hot for Petal to be stuck in the heat and bored. Michael looked after Petal so well and sent regular videos and photos. He also was very considerate and asked how she ate etc, the heat etc too. Highly highly recommend Michael and his family to look after your pup! If we’re in Devon again, he’d be the first person I contact!
Michael was great with Ralph. Kept him busy on walks, playing, training tricks etc. Was also very communicative and sent lots of photos for the duration of his stay. Lovely house, big enclosed garden. Ralph had a great time and my mind was at rest leaving him there 😊

Michael’s family are so in love with dogs that it’s clear to see from the second we Winnie entered their home. We were at a wedding and so naturally nervous about leaving our little girl for the whole day, but we had regular updates, pictures and stories. Winnie even got to enjoy a trip to the beach! It was so comforting knowing that she was in safe hands, and we will 100% be rebooking the next time we are in Devon for an event and need Winnie taken care of.
Michael and his family were great at looking after Freddie for us. I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to look after dog.

Schedule
Currently work part time as a bartender whilst studying for a VNA degree, so have plenty of time to spend with your dog, and I would consider it work experience.

I'm living in an extremely dog friendly household with 2 other adults (20-40years old) who would love the canine company as much as I would, which has a fenced garden with plenty of things to explore.
A typical day
I typically take a new dog out to a nearby Forrest that's popular with dog walkers, but keep them on the lead unless I'm confident with their recall. They may get too many treats (that you confirm they are ok to eat).
