People call me the dog whisperer!

I have had my own dog since I was five when I named my Doberman Rommel. (History nut even then.) Around New Albany people see me walking my dog constantly. All weather every day twice a day. Long walks that allow my dog LuLu to explore and destress. Best thing for them. I love dogs and almost always, they love me right back. I'm patient, protective, and I know dogs are family!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard and an overly friendly senior mutt. I'm also always aware of other dogs when I walk and I know how to prevent problems before they happen. I owned a Golden Retriever and larger dogs in the past so big breeds aren't a problem.

Always reliable, kind person who obviously loves dogs and the outdoors! Clark (my dog) comes back from his walks happy and tired!

My dog has a new best friend! Michael is great with Clark and combines great exercise with time to sniff and explore. Clark looks forward to his walks and is calmer and happier when they return. Thanks, Michael. Highest recommendation!

I can’t recommend Mike enough as a dog walker. He genuinely loves dogs, and they absolutely love him — there’s something about his cam, warm presence that dogs naturally gravitate toward. What I appreciate most is his patience and philosophy about walks: when a dog stops to sniff or explore, he always says, “This is their time, not mine.” It says so much about the care and respect he brings to every outing. Whether you need long, energetic walks or shorter, more leisurely ones, he handles both with ease. He’s dependable, kind, and truly understands what makes dogs happy. Your dog couldn’t be in better hands

I can’t recommend my dad enough as a dog walker. Dogs have always been naturally drawn to him. Growing up, our neighbor’s dog would whine with pure excitement every time she saw my dad and never reacted that way to anyone else. Later on, our golden retriever Cooper absolutely adored him, and now our current dog Lulu is the same way. She lights up the moment she’s around him. He genuinely loves dogs of all kinds and treats every one like his own. He’s patient, attentive, and truly enjoys spending time with them, especially getting outside for walks. Any dog in his care is safe, happy, and incredibly well loved. Pet parents can feel completely confident trusting him with their dog!

All I really need to know is how they are around kids, people, and other dogs. I'm good at watching for signs of discomfort, but knowing ahead of time is best.
