Our 2 dogs are older, and we have 2 cats, as well, so I won't care for other dogs in my home at this time. I enjoy visits with new families. Getting to know the parents and their pups. Talking with families to keep their routines as close as possible to their daily schedule. Learning likes, dislikes, food, water, play habits is essential. When you leave your pet in my care, it's my hope you'll be relaxed and confident they are in good hands. I hope you enjoy pictures during my time with your pet. Seeing them happy to see me and seeing you content is my goal.
Information Michael R. would like to know about your pet
I expect he family will fill me in on health issues/limitations, diets, bathroom habits, behavorial triggers and their daily routines. Every dog and family are different. Listening and taking good notes will help insure a positive outcome, and hopefully an ongoing relationship. Note: first aid/CPR is practical experience; be advised, I do not have a formal certification at this time. I am well-versed in DM care, unfortunately.
A typical day
Taking time with the family will define what I do with their babies. I will do my best to do what they're used to. Some are active, some rather get petted until they snooze...and everything in between.

Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs since I was 8...mine, family and friends. The most current group has been our three corgis and a "temporary adoptee" (of four years). He was home when he hit the door.
Reviews

Michael exceeded my expectations in taking care of my two dogs. Prior to my trip, he came to visit my pups in order to get to know them, observe their behavior, talk about my daily routine, and any special needs. This interaction surely made me feel so much more comfortable in the fact that I could go away and not have to worry about my dogs while being away. I certainly looked forward to his many daily pics and information that he provided to me. In future trips, I will only request Michael because I never had to worry or be concerned about anything. He is definitely a KEEPER and highly recommend him to my family and friends.

We had an exceptional vacation to Scotland because of the care and love provided by Michael. The daily reports, photos, and updates let us know that our Princess was happy during our leave.

Our dogs are always in good hands with you! Thank you for loving them like your own.

Absolutely fantastic and reliable. Michael is reliable and loving. We can finally enjoy vacation knowing our cat is completely taken care of.
