Certificates City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Technical Competence in Dog Walking City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Technical Competence in Animal Health, Husbandry and Handling City & Guild's Level 2 Pet Sitting DBS Certified Hi I’m am retired person, I live with my wife Val, and we love walking in the countryside and visiting places of interest. We are members of the National Trust and often visit places to see the gardens, my wife works from home. We have a very large back garden from which I grow a lot of our own veg, So your pet will always have someone there and large garden to explore, We can give the love and support to a dog, and treat the pet as our own while it's in our care. Having had dogs’ 🐩and cats’ 🐈of our own I know how important it is to know your pet is being taken care of in the best possible way. The two cats we have are used to dogs we had a labradoodle living with us in the past for around 6 months.

Absolutely fantastic Boarders! This was the first time we have ever used Boarders and Michael and Val put us at ease and reassured us of the exceptional care that they would provide for our kittens and they did not disappoint, they kept us informed with lots of videos and pictures right from the very start so we could enjoy our Christmas celebrations knowing they were in great hands thank you so so much we will definitely be calling in your service again highly recommend!

First time me and my partner have ever left our dog with someone couldn’t of out us more at ease had regular updates throughout the day and treated our dog as if it was there own
We had a recent overnight stay with Family and took the opportunity of trying our dog with a home sitter this time and found Michael through Rover. Lewis is typical boisterous Boxer who has been ruined by my partner, so much so he no longer thinks he’s a dog! He doesn’t cope very well in kennels as he misses his home comforts and when we have picked him up in the past he’s normally very stressed and makes himself ill. We had an initial visit with Michael & Val to see how he found them and first signs were great as he seemed very relaxed & happy with them. They took a lot of information about Lewis to tried & keep him to his routine and was happy to give him his medication. Lewis was pleased to be back at theirs when we dropped him off for his stay and we had lots of lovely videos showing him having a lovely time. It was great when we picked him up that he was so relaxed & had none of the stresses like when he stayed in kennels, so he was obviously so much happier with his stay. Would definitely recommend and use Michael & Val again in the future!

As Stated I am a retired person so my time is my own, I do enjoy going for walks and I have a large garden

Safety, trust & environment
We have 2 cats living with us, and this has never interfered with looking after dogs, we only ever accept 1 dog at a time. When I look after pets in there own home I have the owners wishes to go on, how many walks per day, time of walks, any medication required, any other requirement's they need from me

A typical day
I have numerous dog puzzles to keep them mentally stimulated, a large garden for them to play in, near me there are numerous walks to go on i.e. Fields to play ball in, woods for quiet walks, and a communal area for socialising with other dogs
