A walker who loves pets!
I love pets and traveling to different parts of the city to spend time with them. Lately I have taken care of a lot of my friend's dogs and so I decided to join Rover. I am a runner and biker so I can also hike with your dog. I am 6 foot 5 inches tall so I can care for all sizes of pets. We had two labs and two cats growing up, so I am used to having pets around all the time. I live with my girlfriend and her two boys (12 & 17) so I am happy to do house visits, stay at your place and care for your pet, or board them at the house! We live in East Grand Rapids, near Reeds Lake and Manhattan Park. Perfect for pets to walk, bark, run, and play ball.

I usually do walks early mornings, at lunch time, and before bed. Taking dogs to parks is a favorite of mine. Cats are fun to board or for drop ins because they love to be pet and sometimes play.

We had the pleasure of working with Michael as our dog sitter on very short notice. Michael went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely comfortable and confident that our dogs were in great hands. He was thoughtful, communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. Knowing they were with someone so attentive gave us such peace of mind. What made the experience even more special was how much Michael helped us enjoy our visit to his city. He was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make our trip easier and more enjoyable. He exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and genuinely wonderful dog sitter. We would absolutely work with Michael again!
Mike was excellent with our bull dog Mush. He was patient and understood his needs without any complaints! He kept his fan on him, walked him, played with him and kept him company for a few hours. As first time Rover users he definitely put us at ease! He sent us photo updates and took great care of Mush! We will use him again !
Michael is very attentive and a great communicator. He kept us consistently updated throughout the stay, and took great care of Buddy. Highly recommend him for any of your pet needs!
He was a fantastic house sitter for us! Sent great updates with photos! Took our pup for so many walks, she lost that couple pounds the vet has been bugging us about:). Even went and bought a new leash when ours broke. Great guy and we'll definitely use him again!
Michael and his family were amazing, communicative and engaging with our 2 mini Aussies. It seemed like they really enjoyed their time there! I really appreciate Michael’s attention to detail and kindness. We are totally using them again when we travel out of town! A+++
We felt so comfortable leaving our dag with Michael and his family! Michael communicated well with us and we were confident that Max was getting plenty of exercise and attention. We would highly recommend and hope to use Michael again in the future.

Schedule
I don’t have a set office schedule so I can build time to do walks, drop in visits, day care or boarding. I work from home a lot.
