We both work from home. There will be someone home 24x7. We have 2 dogs so your pet must be socialized. There is a fenced yard with plenty of shade and we take them on walks to the park.

The dogs are free to roam around the house, go into the fenced yard when they want and will be walked in the park 2x per day. If preferred they can be crated for the night. We are comfortable with administering medications provided. We require our furry guests to be (recently) washed at check-in so we can all enjoy each other's company.

A typical day
In the morning, we start with letting the dogs out in the yard for urgent business. Then we have breakfast and the morning cuddling routine. Next up, we take the dogs for a walk along the bayou. Depending on the energy level of the dogs and the weather, the walks range from 10 to 45 minutes. When we return home, it's time for a snack and a nap. Depending on the weather and his/her preference, the patio and the (secured) yard are places to hang out when the dog bed or cool floor become boring. Around 5pm we venture on a second walk, followed by dinner and cuddles in front of the tv. Most of our guests retire around 9pm, soon to be followed by us.

Michael and Mark were the best Rover sitters ever! They arranged a meet up and were very detailed in asking questions about my dog. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog in their hands. They sent pictures and updates all weekend! Their dogs were so sweet and played so well with mine. They went above and beyond on taking care of Alfie. Michael & Mark took fantastic care of our Frenchie, Harry. Harry tends to be slow to warm up be he took to them right away and we could tell he felt very comfortable with them, probably because of the attention and affection he received. They also sent us plenty of great pictures throughout his stay to show what he was up to! We’ll definitely use them again for our furchild needs.
Michael is naturally a very caring person, and has a magical way to connect with dogs. When my wife and I needed some one to care our 2 years old Yorkiepoo, Woojoo, Michael was able to connect and communicate with Woojoo almost immediately and gave her the sense of comfort in the new environment. During his care, Woojoo enjoyed the walk, went to a park and played. Michael also took pictures of Woojoo's activities throughout the day, and communicated with us on-going basis proactively. And we appreciated it very much.
