I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and my family has always owned extra-large breeds — including our current gentle giant, who weighs 130 lbs! Because of that, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether they’re playful and energetic or shy and routine-oriented.

Michael was fantastic. We had to work through a couple hiccups at the beginning of the week and Michael was super easy going and accommodating. He took Luna for a weeks worth of great walks around the neighborhood while our house was a little short staffed - we will 100% reach out to book him again!
Michael M. has watched my dogs for a number of years, with Stella (who has since passed) and more recently with our chocolate lab, Jesse, and every experience has been great. All of our dogs have been rescues and have had issues being around strangers but they warmed up to Michael immediately. He was also sure to provide us with updates, check-ins, and pictures throughout their stay. I've found Michael M. to be reliable, easy to communicate with, and clearly comfortable around dogs. It’s hard to find someone you fully trust with your pet, but I’d definitely recommend Michael to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dogsitter.
Michael grew up with family pets. He started pet sitting for friends and neighbors when he was in middle school. He has a lifelong love and compassion for animals and would adopt every stray he found if he could. He is extremely responsible and respectful with a strong work ethic. He will care for your pets as he would for his own. He would be an amazing addition to the Rover Team!

Schedule
I am a recent law school graduate and I'll be taking time off this summer to study for the bar exam, which gives me a very flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and sitting services. I can easily fit my study schedule around your pet’s needs to make sure they get reliable, attentive care and lots of love while you’re away.

I care for pets by being attentive to their individual needs and personalities. I love engaging with animals — whether that means giving them lots of affection and attention, going on walks, playing, or simply making sure they get fresh air and stimulation throughout the day. At the same time, I understand that every pet is different. Some are highly social, while others are more independent and prefer their own space. I always strive to respect each pet’s comfort level and routine while making sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy in my presence.
A typical day
A typical fun day for a dog really depends on the dog! My approach is to meet them at their own energy level, whether that means long walks or lazy strolls where we stop to smell the grass.
