I am American Red Cross Dog First Aid certified, and I'm a member of and fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for your beloved furry friend. We offer a spacious, fenced-in yard where your dog(s) can enjoy outdoor playtime and potty breaks whenever they like throughout the day. Additionally, there's the option to visit the local El Dorado dog park for extra running time. If your dog isn’t ready to be off-leash, we can take a long walk instead. Teddy, our 2 year-old English Labrador, is a happy, social pup without any guarding or resource-hoarding tendencies. He’s happy to share his toys and loves to run around chasing his friends or being chased. We also have a crate available if your dog needs one. If you are in the process of training your dog with specific commands, we can continue the training during their stay, as we have extensive experience training Teddy and the other dogs we’ve had over the past 20 years. Filtered drinking water is provided to all of our doggie visitors, as well as complimentary healthy dog treats and poop bags!

Trusted, Experienced Pet Care
Pet care experience
We’ve owned and cared for dogs for over 20 years. I'm a member of and fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, with coverage that includes Pet Daycare and Boarding. I’m also certified in Dog First Aid by the American Red Cross. As a dedicated, work-from-home dog dad, I spend my days with Teddy, our 3-year-old English Labrador. He thrives on making new doggie friends and going on playful adventures. Teddy is full of energy, but also a gentle soul who loves to relax and snuggle after a day of fun. My wife Lara and I both work from home, and our house features a spacious, secure yard — perfect for regular potty breaks, playtime, and running around. With Teddy’s friendly spirit and our cozy, well-supervised environment, this is an ideal turnkey spot for your dog’s daycare or boarding needs. Whether it’s a fun day visit or an extended stay, your furry friend will feel right at home here. We want you (and your pup) to feel totally comfortable before booking. Here are some of the most common questions we get — plus a peek into how we keep tails wagging and stays stress-free: Frequently Asked Questions 🐾 What should I pack for my dog’s stay? Think of it like sending them on a little doggie vacation! Bring their regular food, bowl, leash, and any meds they might need. If they have a favorite bed or blanket, we’d love to have it here—it helps them feel cozy and at home. Do you require vaccinations? Yes, for everyone’s safety we require all dogs to be up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella, and to be current on flea prevention. Please provide proof before your dog’s stay so everything’s set for a safe and happy visit. Are there any pups you can’t host? For everyone’s safety, we can’t host dogs over 8 months old who haven’t been spayed or neutered, females in heat, or dogs with aggressive behavior. We want to make sure all our guests are safe and happy. What’s your meet-and-greet like? It’s a quick and easy way for you, your pup, and us to get to know each other. We’ll chat about your dog’s routine, personality, and quirks so we can keep their stay as stress-free and fun as possible. How many pups do you host at once? We keep our pack small and carefully matched so every dog gets plenty of love, attention, and playtime. Only friendly dogs who pass our meet-and-greet join the group. Do you have a safe place for dogs to play? Yes! Our fully fenced backyard is perfect for zoomies, sniffing, and sunshine. The doors stay open during the day so pups can wander in and out as they please. Will my dog be alone during the day? Nope! We both work from home, so your dog will have company, supervision, and plenty of interaction all day long. Will I get updates while I’m away? Definitely! We send daily photo updates (and sometimes videos) so you can see their happy face and know they’re having a great time. Do you offer dog wash? Yes! we offer an optional add-on dog wash service so your pup can go home fresh, clean, and happy after their stay. What about drop-off and pick-up times? Please provide an accurate drop-off and pick-up time when booking. This keeps things calm and makes arrivals and goodbyes stress-free. When you arrive, just send us a quick message and we’ll pop outside to greet you and your pup. What if my plans change? Life happens! We follow Rover’s standard cancellation policy, but just let us know as soon as you can so we can adjust. How do you handle daycare stays longer than 12 hours? If a daycare stay goes over 12 hours, it will be charged at our overnight boarding rate.
