Dogs have always been a part of our family. I’ve had a dog for most of my life, and we currently have a friendly, easygoing 9-year-old Labrador who loves having visitors. Our home is a calm, loving place where dogs are treated like part of the family, not just guests. Friends and family have relied on us for years to care for their pets while they’re away, and it’s something we truly enjoy. I’ve trained all of our dogs over the years, focusing on good manners, positive reinforcement, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for every dog in our care. Caring for dogs through Rover has been a great experience for our whole family, and we take pride in providing dependable, attentive care. If you’re new to Rover, rest assured that most owners have very positive experiences. We aim to give you peace of mind while you’re away by caring for your dog as if they were our own — a cozy, loving alternative to kenneling.

Hank always has a good time with Michael and his girl Stella. Michael was very communicative, and he was flexible with us when our return trip was delayed by a major snowstorm. Much appreciated!
Michael was great for Comet. He was very communicative with setting up a time to meet, and he and his family took great care of our boy. It was over 100 degrees out so they made sure to take him on more frequent but shorter walks. We will definitely be using him again in the future
Micheal and his family took care of our boy for a short weekend getaway. Our dog definitely seemed to enjoy his time with the family and took to them well! Will definitely be using them again.

Schedule
I work from home mostly and my wife works from home two days per week which allows for your dog to have several opportunities to get outside for a walk each day right beside mine. Yours can play with our dog as well as the other members of our family. Our dog is good with other dogs as well as people.and small children.

A typical day
A typical day will start with a walk then breakfast if that’s is your dogs feeding schedule. Fun activities will certainly depend on what your dog likes but certainly walks, playing with dog toys, balls and playing fetch etc There is a dog park a 1 mile away. And of course lots of love and petting -All Options
