It’s helpful to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, commands they know, and any quirks or behaviors I should be aware of. I also like to know how they interact with other people and animals, whether they have any medical conditions or medications, and if there are any triggers or situations that make them uncomfortable. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality, age, and energy level. For active dogs, that might mean long walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, or exploring a new walking route with plenty of time to sniff and enjoy the outdoors. For more laid-back or senior pets, I’m happy to take slower walks, spend time giving them attention, or simply keep them company. I also enjoy reinforcing good habits with positive encouragement, offering mental stimulation through interactive play, and making sure every pet gets plenty of love and affection. My goal is for your pet to have fun, stay safe, get the exercise they need, and look forward to seeing me again.
