One family, a dog… and a stay that feels like home. I'm Karri and understanding what a Labrador needs has shaped everything about how I care for dogs. My husband Mike trained and handled search and rescue dogs, building trust and partnership from the ground up. Every stay we take on is structured, intentional and built around both our pups' routines so they thrive. Then there's Hank, our goofy white Lab who takes his hosting role very seriously. Fast friends are kind of his thing. Our goal is simple: your pup leaves happy, tired, and ready to come back. Every dog that arrives brings their whole world with them, their schedule, their comfort needs, their fun side and their quirks. We honor all of it. Certified in canine CPR and First Aid, we practice AKC Good Citizen positive reinforcement as the way our whole family naturally lives with dogs. We specialize in separation anxiety. Our environment works best for dogs that settle in gradually and will thrive in a calm, structured home. Experienced with senior dogs, puppies finding their social footing, medical needs including injection administration, and medium to large breeds of all activity levels.

Karri, Michael and Hank were incredible! They treated my dog like a member of their family. The daily pictures and updates reassured me that my dog was having a great time. Karri and Michael really pay attention to the details and went above and beyond to make both me and my dog feel comfortable. My family and I ran into some travel delays and they were so wonderful and accommodating, they watched my dog an extra night without question. Their dog Hank is my dog's new best friend! Thank you Karri and Family!💚 Maxi was loved and well take care of. He had an amazing time with them and their dog Hank and we were so happy to receive their updates with pictures and videos daily. There were times where the app didn’t work for us so she send me emails and txt so we could see him and know he was doing great🐶. Michael and Karri (and Hank) are great. Fun updates throughout the stay and we came home to a dog that was clean and happy. They know the secret, a tired dog is a happy dog.
Michael and Kerri are the best sitters! They took care of my big energetic dog for 9 days and he had a blast! He got to play with his big buddy Hank, sleep comfortably in their home, and go to the dog park and go on adventures to burn off some energy when he could! He was well taken care of and loved! They are very caring and thoughtful, always sending detailed updates with pictures and updating me with anything I’ve asked them to pay special attention to (like taking his meds). I trust them with my dog completely and go to vacation without worry! They truly are the best!
Michael and family were wonderful. We received daily updates with the highlights of the day including a heartwarming array of photos and videos. It was great to get day-by-day updates as our dog became comfortable in thier home and enjoyed the array of engaging activities.

Schedule
We welcome one family at a time and kindly request a minimum 2 night stay. First time family dates are held once a meet and greet is scheduled, and we determine together at the meet and greet if our pups' are a match to confirm the stay. We open our calendar 6-8 weeks out to ensure our availability stays current. If you see we are away please reach out, as we may have flexibility to accommodate your needs. Once booked with us, we are with your pet the vast majority of the time during the stay and rarely step out.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is a private tri-level house with a fully fenced yard, a pool and an oak shaded park just one block away. Our carpeted lower level is a favorite for dogs who prefer softer landings and cooling pads are on hand for our warmer guests. Beds, a couch ramp and quiet crate space are available throughout. Bring whatever makes your pup feel at home to settle in. All outdoor time is supervised and tailored to your pup's comfort level around water, open space and off leash activity. Our dog savvy teen rounds out a household that genuinely loves having dogs around. Every guest gets our undivided attention. Pups who play hard or enjoy a longer stay go home freshly bathed. A second dog from your household is always welcome. We accept spayed and neutered dogs only. No aggressive dogs or dogs that express anxiety through persistent barking

A typical day
Every day starts with a routine both dogs thrive in. This could be morning walks through our Oak shaded neighborhood park, where the sniffs alone are worth the trip, an hour jaunt around the neighborhood or a local paved trail with a creek. Back home it's fetch, mentally stimulating activities, snoozes and snuggles. There's pool time for water lovers in the warmer months. With parent permission, we have the occasional field trip for the adventurous ones to join our active family locally at dog parks, trails or open space nearby. Evenings wind down with walks, dinner, quiet music and a little grooming. Wholesome homemade treats close out the day for those without allergies, parent approved. Hank sees every guest in and out!
