I've been retired a few years, from 35 years owning an automotive repair shop. I don't miss the cars, but I certainly miss interacting and helping my customer's with a critical element of their lives. This is not a side-gig for me, but a new full-time passion. My wife Raundi, also operates her online-teaching/publishing business of 12 years from home. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and take the best care of your precious family member, just like they were my own.

We own a beautiful 2 story townhome over-looking RSM lake, with a small front yard that can be enclosed when playing, and a 300 sq. ft fenced patio for small games of catch and laying in the fresh air. 3 Daily walks a day around the lake and shaded neighborhoods/trails, are normally 1-1.5 mile loops and adjusted to your pet's athletic abilities. Longer walks are available. If your pet just wants/needs to nap or has some other special needs, that can be fulfilled as well. I want to make their stay away from home stress-free and fun, so you don't have to worry.

Please feel free to visit our home for a Meet and Greet! Please let me know of any medical issues or behavior traits that may be relevant. I recommend bringing any their bedding/crate, favorite toys/treats, medicine and Food. I have plenty of food/water bowls!
A typical day
A typical day is three 1-1.5 mile walks, depending on your pet's physical abilities. Potty breaks at least every 1 1/2 hrs-2 hrs, more frequently for puppies and other special needs. Chuck-it on the 100ft leash at the local park and extra walks available. At home, I love to have a pet's company as I work or if they want to nap/rest....I'm all for that too!

Pet care experience
50+ years of experience taking care of pets. I am certified by the Red Cross for Pet First Aid and always expanding my knowledge. We have been proud home owners in RSM for 29 years, raising 3 dogs, 7 cats, countless fresh/saltwater fish and two great kids. And proudly, the latter two both attended OCSA and UCI and are now off creating their lives. We recently rescued two wonderful cats, who find dogs fascinating, and have a network of catwalks, lofted beds with the best views of the Lake and a second-story 12 sq ft outdoor enclosed Catio. Since I love to cook(and Biology major in college), our cats eat a scientifically designed home-made cat food, and I make dog training treats for friends and family. We have been the go-to sitters for our family.

Dear Mike, you did a fantastic job with Duke. This dog absolutely loves being in your care and all the photos and videos support that statement. You took great care of him and kept him a happy dog. He enjoyed your walks around the lake and time at the park. We greatly appreciate your kindness, professionalism, and also teaching Duke to like tennis balls. This is our second time booking with Michael, and he takes great care of our dog Mocha. She was excited to see him again, if a bit anxious, and he immediately took her out for a walk which I think helped her calm down. When we returned she was very relaxed and happy. Michael is very responsive with messages, and takes Mocha out regularly throughout the day, even in the rainy weather we had last week. We're very happy having Michael take care of her!
Michael is our first dog sitter for our first puppy. We felt peace and tranquility when we left him at his house. We saw the house, it is so confortable and nice :) He sent us photos and videos of our puppy very often. Without a doubt we will choose Michael again! I highly recommend him. Thank you Michael!!!!
