Your Dog’s New Best Friend!
Hi, I’m Michael! I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, so I know exactly how much they mean to a family. To me, they aren’t just pets, they’re our best friends. I started Tail Waggin' Adventures because I wanted to give local dogs a chance to get out, explore, and have a bit of fun while their owners are busy. What our walks are like: I don’t believe a walk should just be a quick trip around the block. I like to make sure your dog actually has a great time. - If your dog loves a fast-paced hike, we’ll do that. If they’re older and just want to spend 30 minutes sniffing every single tree, that’s fine too! I follow their lead. - I’m always on the lookout for busy roads or other dogs to make sure everything stays stress-free. I’ll always stick to your specific rules and whatever temperament your dog has. - I want to be someone your dog is actually excited to see. I use lots of praise and treats (if allowed!) to make sure we become the best of friends. Check ins: If your pet prefers staying at home, I can pop in to help. I'll refresh their food and water, clean litter trays, and make sure they get some garden time and plenty of attention. I always keep a close eye on their behavior and appetite, and I’ll send you a quick update and some photos after every visit so you can relax. I’m fully insured and DBS checked, so you know your home and your pets are in safe hands. I always suggest a free meet and greet first to make sure I’m the right fit for your pet. We have a Boarder Collie which we got just before Covid so he doesent like strangers coming in to the house. We found Michael on Rovers and from the first time he came to our house he knew how to handle Teddy. He came twice to meet Teddy and then we went away for a week. Michael kept us updated with pictures and when he had been fed etc . If you have a dog that’s nervous or anxious I highly recommend Michael he’s excellent your dog will receive 5 star service .
Would highly recommend Michael for looking after our pooch. He provides the right kind of activity and care to meet his needs. Reliable and very capable hands. We are lucky to have someone like Michael who ensures our dog has the exercise, enrichment and all the cuddles he could want when that extra help is needed

Zeitplan
I work part time in my day job, which is quite flexible. This means I can usually shift things around to suit your schedule. While I'm wide open on weekends, I can often make mid-week or evening sessions work too. Every week can be a little different, so it’s always worth sending me a message, I’m happy to chat and see how I can fit into your pet's routine!

- To make sure your dog has the best time possible, it really helps me to know a bit about their "rules" and quirks. Before we start, we can chat about: Their personality: Are they a social butterfly or do they prefer their own space? Health stuff: Any allergies, regular meds, or old injuries I should look out for. Their routine: What’s the "normal" way of doing things at home to keep them feeling settled? Likes and dislikes: What’s their favorite treat, and is there anything that makes them nervous (like big lorries or loud noises)? The more you can tell me about them, the easier it is for me to make sure they’re happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away!
